We’d heard so much about Frannie’s we were excited to try it. On our first visit we ordered the lunch special , burger and fries with a dill pickle soup. The food was delicious. We were too full to get dessert so we brought a tray of our favourite home. Cherry cheesecake. However we were very disappointed that there was only cool whip flavour , no cheesecake flavour at all, and even the graham bottom and cherry topping lacked any flavour. Frannie's has the best buttertarts I've EVER had! Sweet, buttery, soft, silky center caramel delight! A symphony of sugar: from the caramelized outside to the more complex interior, where the consistency ranges depending on serving temperature.
