Despite the poor reviews, we ordered the dinner for 5 and a few other dishes for our New Year’s Day dinner.
No complaints. Delicious, hot and very fresh.
The family agreed on a 4.7 star rating…
Will definitely order from here again TY

This place is the ONLY place you should go for Chinese food. Protip: Take a menu from their restaurant and keep as a reference to order in advance especially on holidays and long weekends. These guys are part of Brighton culture!!

Take out only. Ordered dinner for 4, it included sweet & sour balls, breaded shrimp, both so dried out we couldn’t eat. At $70 cash (less 10%) a very disappointing meal
We have enjoyed their hot, fresh, delicious food here for years! It is a hidden gem. They only offer take-out now (they used to have a buffet). Ample portions and authentic Chinese food flavour are what this place is all about. We ordered their "Dinner for 1", and, my photo here shows what you get transfered to a plate. Great value! I highly recommend this place!

Such a shame...it used to be our go to for local Chinese food but today has been such a disappointment that we will never go back. I ordered combination E for me and my daughter. With a can of pop each. I figured we could do a couple lunches from it each as the portions are always good. Sad to say most of our 35 dollar purchase went into the trash.
First off, the chicken balls were smothered in sweet and sour sauce. I have never had that on my chicken balls as it has always been put on the side. I can live with that because I didn't specify and maybe I should have. The vegetable lo mein noodles were crunchy and the chicken fried rice was so salty that it could not be eaten.
The egg rolls were burnt but we ate them anyways because we were so hungry.
The cans of pop were both expired by 10 months!!
I'm so disappointed but will never give them any more if my hard earned cash again.

The food was ready quickly. Good quantity and tasty. Too bad they've closed the licensed dining area.

Never disappointed...food always fresh, hot and reasonable price...even if Brighton had more eateries we would still order take-out..the staff ( most likely the owners) are friendly and courteous...that's good ? enough for us....thanks for the great service ?

The quality has been slowly going down for the last ten years, but after covid, they never recovered.
I grew up eating from this diner, and it has never been good. The Chinese food they serve is incredibly disappointing. The quality is very poor, and what's even more concerning is that they prepare some of their dishes outside behind the building. As a certified food handler, this practice makes me extremely uncomfortable and skeptical about their hygiene standards.
Adding to the disappointment, they no longer offer dine-in or buffet options since the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. While the prices might be decent, it's evident that the low quality matches the low cost. The food lacks flavor, freshness, and overall appeal. It's disheartening because I had hoped for better, considering my long history with this place.
To be honest, this diner serves the absolute worst Chinese food I've ever had. I say this with confidence because I ate Chinese food here every Christmas Eve for 18 years, and the recent experience was a significant disappointment. I won't be returning, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking genuine and delicious Chinese cuisine.

We just tried this place for the first time and unfortunately the last. I find if you’re gonna cut corners then you’re gonna lose customers. I would rather drive to better tasting places in Trenton or farther etc. than waste my money here when they water everything down. The sweet-and-sour sauce has zero favor. It is so watery it made all of the items that came with sauce completely soggy. I’ve never had sweet & sour sauce ever that is like water, It’s usually thicker consistency.. There wasn’t one item out of the three combination meals that we got that we liked and some stuff tasted fishy. The rice had no vegetables in it which is supposed to have a little pieces of peas and carrots. Everything was lacking any flavor and watered down and soggy!

Purchased 2 beef dishes , the beef was only fat and grilled, no beef strip in either dishes. Called to complain, and they said that a new owner had taken over and all they said was that they were sorry. There is no dine in.
