We always have a great time at the Brighton KOA. we've stayed there a dozen times in various cabins and have never had an issue. There's lots for kids to do and we love the weekend events. The pool is heated and our kids spend most of the time there! We also love that we can bring our dog with us!

This was a disappointing visit. While the pool and play areas were lovely and well enjoyed by the kids, the camping experience was not pleasant. We were on a tent site that was so small we had to cram our sleeping and dining tents within inches of each other. Even without the dining tent we wouldn't have felt comfortable having a fire because the tent was so close to the pit. The pit in the site next to us was also far too close to the bush for a safe fire. There were no sinks or toilets close to the tenting spots - instead they were all central to the cabins and trailer sites where most already have their own facilities. It was at least a 200 metre walk to toilets from our site. There is very little shade anywhere making for an uncomfortable day if its hot and sunny. The noise from the 401 on one side, Telephone Road on the other, and flights above made for a very sleepless night. For $75/night this was a very disappointing stay. We will stick to camping instead of "kamping" and invest in experiences at provincial and national parks from now on at half the price per night.

Here now for 10 days, and the park is amazing. There was so much to do over the weekend, our grandson fell fast asleep on the way home due to him being so tired and exhausted from all the activities. Very few open spots for the weekend but Sunday is now quiet with fellow campers heading home until next weekend Loved the Christmas in July theme and made it more fun for the weekend

We have been to this campground 2x prior in October for their halloween weekend. Always a great time. I just purchased my first trailer, so my mother sister & I had a girls weekend away. My mom was super excited as it was a Throwback to Music weekend, with a DJ to play music from the 60s, 70s & 80. My 74 yr old mother couldn't stop talking about how much fun we will have listening to "her" music and dancing up a storm. Sadly, the DJ played anything but. It was still great music, but not for my mom who was waiting for the advertised program. We ended up going back to our trailer & put on music on my spotify and had our own little party. The park itself is great with lots to do. They have a great playground, disc golf course, wagon rides, heated pool (a nice option would have an "adult only hour"), chip truck. and a play field with numerous activities. We have stayed in the cabin 2x and it was lovely. Anytime we had an issue we were met with quick assistance. The owners & staff are lovely, always offering a smile. We ordered food from the chip truck - 2 cheese burgers, chicken burger & poutine. The poutine was massive and 3 of us ladies couldn't finish the large size! Now, the young people working inside the chip truck seemed slightly overwhelmed. They often had to pull out their ear pods to talk to customers (us) and I didn't notice them washing their hands after touching their ears/pods, before going back to cooking. We were told they were out of tomatoes and pickles, and no more bags to carry our food back (they did offer to go to the camp store to get a bag and we said no thanks, it was fine.) got back up to our site, only to find the burgers had no cheese and no condiments on them. Thankfully my sister is a fit little bugger so she walked back to get the missing items. The young man was very apologetic and she told him not to worry. It was odd though that they ran out of tomatoes and pickles on their first night of the weekend and only an hour into opening. Must have been a lot ordering. I would recommend them not wearing ear pods while working, just to be more professional. Our site was great - it was further back towards the entrance. Easy to pull in & pull out. Full hook up was great to have as well. Sadly there was a burn ban in place, we only saw one family with a campfire on Saturday night, other than that, everyone else made due. Would definitely book here again and recommend to others. Also a great place to stop overnight if travelling along hwy 401. I'd suggest another KOA sign just before Telephone Rd though, I think there was one in years past, but didn't see one until we'd already turned onto the road. All in all a great weekend away!

Stayed here only 1 night. Arrived after office was closed but they had a self-serve kiosk which was not very user-friendly as we had to drive around and figure which sites were available. Map was colour-coded which was difficult for a colour-blind person like myself. Looked like a great place for families with kids ages 5-14 as there was a pool and other playground items. Very close to the 401. Regarding previous review, we did not see any management but if indeed they are anti-maskers, we would have stayed elsewhere.

We cannot recommend this campground. The owners are anti maskers and anti vaxxers and are not complying with health requirements. Hopefully they will be closed down by the authorities until they comply. They have been reported to the necessary health authority

Located just far enough from Toronto, we were traveling home and wanted to avoid the weekend traffic going through Toronto so we made a last minute reservation. Typical KOA, easy check in, small narrow pull through but did the trick. Had a great quiet afternoon and went through Toronto the following morning with very little traffic

This is a busy campground. Good to see so many back travelling again. This is our second trip here so that speaks volumes. A great central base camp to see Brighton, Cobourg, Campbellford (World Finest chocolate surplus store), The BIG Apple, walk around Presqu'ile park if you can't get a site and so much more.

Beautiful campground, big lots. Downside is too many dogs and idiot owners that dont shut them up. People drive too fast and nobody to slow them down. If it wasn't for People and dogs it would be a great place

This was our first time staying at this KOA, it was super clean and the staff are all very friendly. Lots of amenities for families with young children and pets. Saturday had an outdoor dance party and wagon rides for the kids. Thank you for upgrading us to a larger site as we had our 4 kids and 3 dogs camping with us, and thank you for coming to our rescue when our car battery died. We will definitely be returning to this campground.

We "glamped" in a deluxe cabin. The cabin was small, but very clean with all the amenities needed. We did not use the facilities, but noted how amazing the playground was for children. The campground was quiet with nice sunsets and a quick drive to Brighton restaurants and stores and also provincial parks. We loved the X-large fire pit to roast marshmallows.

We have been camping (or glamping) for over 30 years. This campground has to be in the top 5 of our campgrounds to keep going back to. The campground is spotless throughout. The washrooms are among the best we have ever seen. The campsites are very well maintained. No matter what your age you will be well entertained there, I recommend the pool especially. I can’t say enough about the staff. From making the reservation, to getting booked in to going to our site the staff was always smiling and very caring. To all the staff and the owners, job very well done and keep up the good work, we will be back
