Hungry on our trip back to Peterborough. The picture and size of the actual meal were very different from the product received. Disappointed. But the service was excellent!

My husband got take out for himself, my 2 kids and I for dinner. The service was very slow. He asked for a Hamburger Happy Meal for my son (emphasis on NO cheese on his burger) as he is dairy intolerant, and an Egg McMuffin for me. My son ended up with a Cheeseburger. They were highly confused by what an “Egg McMuffin” meant. They kept asking if he meant bacon. He repeated multiple times “No a normal Egg McMuffin”. Well I ended up with a cold egg, on a very burnt English Muffin with no ham. I’m not sure what about our order what confusing. This is not the first time we’ve had issues at this location.

During my recent visit to this McDonald’s location, I experienced a few challenges that I believe could be addressed to improve the customer experience.
While placing my order at the kiosk, I noticed one staff member engaging in loud, non-work-related conversations with a coworker. She was wearing a black coat, had her hair in a bun with a pen or stick in it, and a headset on. While I understand that casual conversation is natural in a workplace, this particular instance felt disruptive and unprofessional. Her loud discussions, including personal stories such as her laundry habits and comments like, “She is complaining? I have a mortgage,” were audible to customers. This created an atmosphere that felt more like a chaotic social gathering than a professional environment. I was going to stay to dine-in but the noise was truly disruptive.
Additionally, the staff’s pace appeared quite slow, which only added to the frustration. As a customer, I came in expecting prompt service and a focused atmosphere. Instead, I found myself amidst loud chatter and distractions. While I appreciate a lively workplace, the noise level and personal discussions being shared so openly seemed excessive and unprofessional.
I hope this feedback can help improve the balance between maintaining a pleasant work environment for staff and providing a more seamless, professional experience for customers.

Always easy to grab some fast food that is hot and ready to enjoy. Wish they had some vegetarian options for mom but for kids quick meal it does the trick
