Standard sleepy town pub, the restaurant is clean, but the men’s washroom need a bit of attention due to “mud on the toilet seat”. the staff are friendly, the prices are fair. the food was good, I have a BBQ grilled chicken sandwich with fries($14), The can of Diet Coke was flat and long expired. It’s nothing exciting but better than fast food.

Went for take out, told on the phone it would be 20 mins, get up to collect and was told another 20 mins, sat down had a beer and finally after 45 mins, I asked where the order was. They forgot. This is after I saw the main cook come out and poor himself 2 shots and a beer and went back to cooking. Horrible!!!
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Attended an event in Brighton and stopped in for a quick bite and beverage.
First impression right at the entrance was a whole bunch of smokers; it's not a huge area but had at least 6/7 people all smoking and it reeked! - I'm not a rabid ex-smoker by any stretch but this was a real turn off and they really should consider moving the big ashtray/smoking area away from the front door.
We ordered the 10 wing appetizer and a couple of pints, server came back from the kitchen to say that they were out of cajun seasoning so we'd need to order a different flavour; I make my own cajun seasoning as does almost every home cook I know - it's 9 different spices mixed together - Google is your friend!
Good sized wings though and unbreaded which is always appreciated.
It was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon and obviously popular with the local crowd.
Shout out to Emma our apologetic server and lovely, friendly young woman

After the big "name change". prices went up, quantity went down, now you have to pay for your salad with dinner which use to be included. We use to eat there 2 or 3 times a week. Now the same meal is $8 more with a salad. Very disappointing

Got food for 20 people from here for my daughter's first birthday. Great price, and amazing food! The staff were soo helpful. Explained options and I was able to add some items the day of. I would highly recommend using them for big events. Make it east and stress free!

The service and atmosphere is nice. I had the smoked chicken and mashed potatoes. The combination of smoke and BBQ sauce was not a good mix. It tasted like a cigarette ash tray. The mashed potatoes were very dry, bland and crumbly.
May I suggest a sweeter BBQ sauce and add some milk, margarine and garlic to the mashed potatoes?
The fish was greasy.
The waitress was amazing ?

It is a fine place to stop in for a drink with friends. The server was friendly and efficient. There are moderate draft choices available. They have a few screens for watching sports. I did not order food this time.

Split the full rack of ribs with mom and we still had leftovers. The ribs were meaty, tasty and nicely sauced.

I had steak on a bun and cabbage corned beef soup. The soup was excellent. The steak on a bun was delicious. The bun was crispy toasted to perfection. The steak was out of this world. I really enjoyed it and now I want to go get another.
