Have been there twice recently. Food is OK. Nothing extraordinary. Service was very good. However on both occasions we fought flies. First visit we accepted that patio was busy and so every time the door opened we got a fly. Second visit it was cool, no one on patio and we fought flies thru our entire lunch. We asked for a fly swatter and kept it for our entire meal. It was not a good experience.
Our party of four dined at the Whistling Duck after some Applefest activities. We traveled up from Kingston. My wife and I have dined here before and brought along two members of our family. Great to sit out on the water. Food a little more expensive than most but worth every penny. Have been here twice for dinner everything was. Excellent. Will be back.
