After a 2-hour drive, we stopped here for lunch, drove for 4 more hours after that but I couldn’t wait to write this review! The homestyle burger was out-of-this-world delicious, and the veggie burger was equally phenomenal. I’ve never had a burger that even comes close to this level of perfection. Absolute compliments to the amazing fry cook for their incredible skill, and a huge thanks to the wonderful lady at the counter with the most welcoming and heartwarming smile. This place truly exceeded all expectations!
Vegetarian options: The veggie burger was brilliant. My partner never enjoys her veggie burger but this time it was different. The burger was delicious
The homemade hamburger is reason enough to stop! Sooo good! First had it at the end of August. Went again this past Saturday and it wasn’t a fluke! In a world of frozen patty food trucks… The Lunch Box is a STAR! Try it! You won’t be disappointed!

you cannot have your hours set to close at 7 and then deny service at 6:50 just because you are “trying to close”. especially when you are the only food place open. this was my first time trying to go there and now i won’t be back. also, don’t say your closed to our faces and then answer the phone past 7 no problem. unbelievable

The Hamburger with cheese was AWESOME!!!!! You can add what you want and the choices are listed. I added the cheese (for an additional cost of $0.75 Canada?). I also added mayo, mustard, onions, pickles, lettuce, & tomatoes. With NO added cost for them. ?. It came to $9.75 Canada ?? ? for mine. Which is an excellent price because it was juicy, flavorful & huge!!!!!My burger was DIVINELY DELICIOUS!!!!! My husband had the hamburger with cheese ($0.75 ??) and bacon ($1.75 Canada ??). He added pickles and onions with mayo. My husband is very PICKY about his burgers. He was EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH HIS MEAL!!!!! The bacon cheeseburger came to $11.00 ???. AND we shared an order of onion rings and they were DELICIOUS & YUMMY!!!!! The onion rings were $9.00 ???. For service was good. Friendly lady serviced us and was very welcoming. When we come to this great country again we WILL DEFINITELY STOP HERE!!!!! And the atmosphere is ok. Not bad and not over the top since it’s near a gas station. But……. The FOOD MAKES UP FOR THE ATMOSPHERE. Ten Stars!!!!!!!!!!

Cute little shack. The prices were average $7 for a fry. However 30 mins to receive 2 French fries is excessive. Needless to say I will not be returning to the lunch box any time soon. It would have been faster to peel the potatoes myself and cook them using the dashboard heat. Hope others have had better service. ?

Stopped for a bite on the long drive to Pearson Airport. Shared an order of fries cuz you just gotta have a few fries. We both had cheese burgers with the works. Oh my word, so very good. No frozen patties here. They are thick, juicy well cooked burgers.Absolutely delicious. Staff all so nice!Good job. Great food. Definitely recommend and will be back. Don't be fooled that the atmosphere is a gas station parking lot. It's worth it!

The store n gas bar the same n again great prices .
I have never seen off the hwy stop the cleanliness of a place like this ever . Even the washrooms are always clean n smell great.

Great burgers and poutine. You pay the advertised price. $8 burger is an $8 burger. Poutine is huge for $10 and very tasty. The gravy is hot enough to melt the curds and the fries are great too.
We stopped here on the way to Timmins. The chicken fingers were probably the best I’ve ever had. Burger and poutine and pickles very good as well.
