Rooms were nothing special but they were clean and the beds were fairly comfy. Definitely good for a stop while journeying east or west

Older motel. Has been updated, but lacks in some area such as beds and pillows. Very hard beds, just 2 small pillows per bed. Asked for more and did get them. Very small TV. Large room though. Very nice location right on the bay just a couple minute walk to the marina. Lovely ice cream shop just across the road. On premise pizza restaurant is ok nothing special but friendly staff.

We had a bad experience here. Staff were not welcoming or accommodating. Even worse was the quality and cleanliness of the room. They did not match the pictures online at all. Our bed had bugs. The appliances were broken and the walls were dirty. It wasn’t cheap either. Over $200 for one night. I tried to get a refund through Booking dot com but they did not acquiesce.

Stayed at Bavarian Inn in Bruce Mines and had a really peaceful and comfortable experience. The place is quiet, clean, and well-kept — perfect for relaxing after a long drive. The rooms were neat and cozy, with everything we needed.
The owner is super friendly and welcoming — felt just like home. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through or visiting Bruce Mines. Great value and warm hospitality!

I recently stayed at the Bavarian Inn Motel in Bruce Mines, and I truly had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and kindness. The room was very clean, quiet, and cozy — exactly what I needed after a long drive.
What I loved most was how peaceful the surroundings were. It’s a perfect little spot if you’re looking to relax and enjoy a break away from the busy city life. The owners clearly put their heart into this place, and it really shows in the way everything is maintained and how they treat their guests.

A well kept,comfortable inn in a small town. The owners were very helpful & we enjoyed the lake front room very much. They have a restaurant attached, the staff were very helpful and attentive.

We have a camp in the north and this was a halfway stopping point. What a great surprise! The rooms have been renovated with an upscale bathroom. The mirror is touch heated with two different settings of lights! The shower was heavenly and most of all, the bed was really comfortable with nice bedding. All was so clean! We had breakfast down the road at Bobbers where there is homemade baked breads and a huge western sandwich. Very impressed with our new halfway point!

Cheaper motel right on the highway. Good parking availability for larger vehicles and small trailers. Owners are renovating slowly with some nice upgrades but don't set your sights to high its still a cheap motel at best. Comfortable beds, good bar and restaurant on site and quiet at night. Good find.

I was travelling by boat and on two occasions stopped in Bruce mines.
On my first stay, I arrived at Bruce Mines Marina around mid morning. I chose this marina, in part, because I saw there was an adjacent motel. After staying on my 28' boat for a few days, I was ready to take a day off from boating.
I wandered up to the motel around noon where Max very politely explained that check-in is at 4 pm, but he would expedite my room.
So I made myself comfortable in the bar and met some local regulars.
And Max was able to get me in a room early.
I chose a simple room, but it was all I needed and more. A comfortable bed, hot shower and fairly good wifi. There was also a microwave and small fridge in the room.
Overall, I was very happy with both the room and the service I received from Max.
We stayed one night in early August. First impression was not good at all. The owner really needs to pick up his game with improving the appearance of the property. If we had not booked ahead, based on the reviews, I doubt we would have even considered staying.
However, the reviews were generally very good, so we booked and once we arrived and saw our room, we were not disappointed. The room had been renovated and the bathroom in particular was beautiful. No complaints at all.
The beds were comfortable, the shower had good water pressure and the entire room was squeaky clean. We would definitely stay again.

At first glance, I thought Oh No! We realized they are in the middle of renovations. The room we had was totally upgraded with a view of the lake. It was very clean. The only thing needed is to change the shower curtain. The bottom is dirty and stain which takes away from such a nice spacious room. The owner is extremely helpful. The restaurant had good food and great service!
