Used to love this place but it's gone downhill considerably, won't be using again.
My husband wanted the fish and chips. We haven’t been here for a long time. We drove over an hour for a nice Sunday out just to have a meal here. The waitress flopped down to sit on the chair across from us to take our order. Literally flopped onto the chair. We were not ready. For her to come again took a long time. After we got our meal. We didn’t see her again. She didn’t come to see if I would like a refill of coffee (I would have), or ask us how our meal was, or if we would have liked a dessert…It was quite shameful. My husbands fish went soggy really quickly and the fries could have been cooked longer. My husband messaged his friend who lives in the Community. He replied with a laugh emoji stating “Good luck, we don’t go there anymore. It really went downhill. Service sucks eh”…. Beyond disappointed. We decided not to tip which feels terrible. But why would you tip on a service that does not warrant it? Still a super uncomfortable situation. Also felt we were given a bad look because of it. Would like to add, an older gentleman was sitting on the bench by the cash and joked with us on how awesome the staff is here. The waitress said “We have our moments”. Kind of smugly. We clearly did not see one of these moments. My husband does not wish to return…
Noteworthy details: It is not a good vibe here at all. Super bummed because it used to be great.

Came from Thessalon reserve to get some eats, a hamburger to be exact. That's what I was craving and I sure got what I was after. Homemade buns I'm pretty sure , and handmade burgers not frozen factory made patties. Freshly chipped fries , and cheesecake for dessert made it the perfect meal. Definitely going to have to return for another real soon. Good work!

Had brunch with a friend , we both had sandwiches with fries , fries were raw inside, grilled cheese sandwich tasted like it was made in a pan that they previously cooked fish in , aweful ! Took home a cinnamon bun , it was dry like leather, maybe made days before, didn't leave a tip , won't go back !

Sticky buns!!!!
disappointing experience from a typically great restaurant. service was extremely slow, food quality was disappointing, multiple items were very old and should not have been served.
unclear what changes have been made.. hopefully there will be a better experience next time.
We went here all the time, for the past 4 years. But now, the pie was horrible. The lunch meal we had we were charged $74.00! I think the place has changed hands ......they use "Codes" to charge you.....instead of the price....our lunch should have been 53.50
Just ate here, didn't stay. Food was amazing! Hard to find a hot hamburger meal these days on a menu, this one will not disappoint. My partner had chicken fingers which were homemade and huge. Sign on restaurant advertises LLBO but no alcohol here. Minor disappointment after driving all day but other wagering holes are nearby!

Good service, nice portions, chicken in wrap was a tad overdone. Yes I would recommend. Also lots of parking, we had 2 RV's, no issues getting in or out.

Located in the heart of Bruce Mines, Ontario, next to the marina, Bobbers is an incredible find. Fresh fish, spectacular perogies, and meals to suit any need. Family run and operated, the place is always busy as a favourite dining experience for locals.
Recommended for a stop anytime, even a relaxing coffee break when passing through town. The butter tarts and date squares are outstanding and generous, but the pies can only be described as mile high and heavenly. Not too sweet, the fruit speaks for itself. And the crust is light and flaky. Blueberry pie is pictured and the raspberry and apple pie is mouthwatering. But for a spectacular, jaw-dropping experience, try the coconut cream pie.
Edit: added the raspberry pie photos.

I enjoyed eating here so much that we went twice. The first time we had fish and chips which was really good and the second time I had the Club sandwich, which was also delicious. It’s a really nicely decorated restaurant and the staff is very friendly and happy. You can tell they’re very happy to work there with all the joking around they do with each other and they are very friendly and accommodating. It’s a wonderful place to pick up the local flavor.
I can’t say anything about the rooms, but the food was excellent. Breakfast and serve all day with great portions and great prices. Highly recommended.
