My husband and I rode our motorcycle from Parry Sound to Burk’s Falls with the intention of having lunch at the local café. When we discovered that it was closed, we started looking for somewhere else to eat. I spotted the sign for Cuba Mia Eatery, and we decided to try it. What a pleasant surprise! The owner was very friendly and helpful. We each had a generously-proportioned cubano with perfectly prepared fries. The flan had both a wonderful caramel taste and an interesting, refreshing texture. A few days later, we ventured back and had the ropa vieja, roasted vegetables, rice and beans, tostones, and maduros. Everything was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend dining at the Cuba Mia Eatery. I know we will be returning in the near future.

Delicious food, wonderful chef!
We stopped by on the way home from a camping trip and this place was perfect. Servings are a good size! We got the roasted pork combo with maduros (sweet, fried plaintain) and congris (rice and beans).
We'll definitely be back next time we pass by!

Amazing ?. The food is super delicious, as a Cuban I recognize the rich flavor of their dishes. Not to mention the service, a very pleasant experience with my family. It's a shame they live far from Toronto, which is where I live. Many thanks to this family for connecting us for a little while with our Cuban land.

On our way to the cottage and stopped in for lunch. Ordered the original Cuban (top in the menu) and it did not disappoint!!! Also ordered the rice and beans that were also yummy. Both items were large portions. There are a few tables inside and picnic tables outside We will be back for sure.

A Cuban restaurant in Burks Falls??? I have only one word - amazing. Amazing!!!! Better than any Cuban food that I've had in Toronto. Cuban food isn't ever considered glamorous or the "in" thing, but it should be, especially from Cuba Mia in Burks Falls. The food is extremely delicious and tastes just like what you would have in Cuba. The portions are huge and the prices are great. The owner is amazingly friendly and the food comes out fast and hot. We had the Cuba sandwich (which was huge) and the pork platter with rice and beans and tostones (fries smashed plantains). If you're in the area and don't know what to eat, or just want to try something different, come to Cuba Mia and try anything/everything on the menu - you will not be disappointed.

I kid you not, this place is AWESOME! He’s inside now, not just the cute cabin outside, and I couldn’t be happier because that means he’s getting the business Cuba Mia deserves. You know the food is good when everyone digs in and the table stays silent until the food is gone….. get the flan, get the guava pastry, get the cubano….. get everything!
Dietary restrictions: He will happily try to make any alterations to your meals - a friend couldn’t eat pork for religious purposes, and he was graciously accommodated.
