I've been a fan of the beer for years, but this was my first time stopping in. It won't be my last.
The service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. When I asked about hot sauce for my tacos, the server brought out a bin full of them for me to choose from. They happened to have a few Martitme Madness varieties, which happen to be my favorite hot sauces.

We spent an evening there to have pizza and a couple of beers.
The service was fast and friendly, and efficient. The food was delicious. Our favorite was the brown beer called "Brown Cow". We are planning to get back in the area later and can hardly wait to visit the brewery again.

We were in the neighborhood hiking at eagles nest, when we decided to stop here for a few beers and some lunch. I'm so glad we did. The location was beautiful, right beside a creek with some rapids. The building it's self was gorgeous, a rustic looking barn. They have a fantastic selection of beer, each on better than the next. We had the 6 meat pizza, by far the best pizza I've ever had. But the best part of the whole experience was the staff. Made us feel right at home, the lady working the bar was an absolutely delight. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful lunch:)

Love me a Bogie!!!!
Great beer and a real cool spot.
The outdoor patio overlooking the river is beautiful. Live music when we were there on Saturday evening. Too hot to sit inside the building in August. Their Cottage country ale and Brown cow stout (with nitro) were my fav. Didn't get to try their food.
Lovely beer selection and friendly wait staff

The Calabogie Brewing Co is as close as you can get to a little jewel of Canadiana in the middle of rural Ontario in the iconic Calabogie Lake.
From the building that evidently is part of the
Historic heritage of Calabogie, to the inside setting of the beer hall, all the way to the back patio with a beautiful view of greenery that populates the river banks, accompanied by the soothing sounds of the river, are the perfect setting to have an unassuming and extraordinary experience.
I had the handmade Canadian pizza topped with Buffalo chicken and Caesar salad, a rather unique combination that paired with the spiciness of the Buffalo sauce and fluffy crunchy crust was excellent, for drinks, I began with the Portage Pilsner that was refreshing, dry and hoppy with a low IBU, for those that don't like beers that are too bitter, and I closed with a K&P 1883: Amber session ale with a low IBU as well and the expected perfumed sweetness off a red beer.
All-in-all, it was a great experience during these warm days of summer while talking about life and business, I'd highly recommend a weekend escapade one hour away from Ottawa with spectacular Canadian Lake and Forest scenery. ???
