The Vista by Chef Denis

We just finished a great Canada Day meal. Deborah our server was great. We each had the filet which was cooked perfectly. The meat is provided by a local farm. The sharable appetizer was excellent. The maple creme Brule was the best I have ever had.It was a large sharable portion and came with a fruit compote and lemon soft biscuit.
We came late in the afternoon and enjoyed a cocktail outside with the beautiful peaceful view.
This is a hidden gem.
Thankyou again for the wonderful experience.
We will be back.

Honestly, I'd just go for the bread! But the pork chops were divine. The mocktails didnt disappoint either.

The food was horrible. It was dry, cold, nothing special for a $75.00 brunch. I wouldn’t recommend. Not worth the money.

Not sure if anything has changed as we visited a while ago and this review is long overdue. We went here once and experienced a disappointing date night— overpriced, mediocre food and terrible service. The server even chased us over the tip, which was shocking and unacceptable. We’ve never experienced that kind of treatment ANYWHERE, even when we’ve visited Michelin restaurants globally. Would not return.

The food and presentation were excellent. The portions were more than what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant, which was an added surprise. The views are great and would be outstanding during the Fall. Our server was professional and courteous. The prices are very reasonable. We will be back.

They weren't the most hospitable people. Didn't feel too welcome especially having a birthday there. I wouldn't recommend. However, the ambience & decor was nice.

Was well worth the drive. Interesting wines. Food was great. People very friendly. Picture of creme brulee with cookie and jam.

My friend and I went for a Christmas lunch today, our first visit. The hotel restaurant ambiance is top notch and we were looking forward to our dining experience. Beautiful Christmas decorations, warm lighting and luxurious marble everywhere. Our window view was lovely.
But the food - very disappointing. My friend ordered the cervechi and I ordered the Chicken Parm sandwich, both highly disappointing. The fries were frozen, not fresh. The coleslaw tasted like it was from a grocery store deli shop with a limp pickle on top. The sandwich was non descript and I left most of it and the rest of my lunch on my plate. My friend said the cerviche was not at all what she envisioned.
Our server saw all the non eaten food and asked if I wanted it packaged up to go. When I said no, thanks, she didn't enquire about my satisfaction with the food (or lack of).
When the bill arrived, we told her we were disappointed in the food and to pass this along.
Not at all a French inspired restaurant.
We might go back in the summer for a drink and view but we'd skip the food. And beware, alcoholic drinks are pricey.

Was very disappointed with my experience here. The food was average at best for the price of the meal. Service was good and attentive and the ambience was not as nice as the pictures make it. I understand it’s hard to rate a restaurant on only one visit but I can’t bring myself to give it another try where I know for $750 (party of 4) there are many other options where I have never been disappointed like this.
