My wife and I had dinner there just as a by chance thing on our little trip to the McMichael Gallery. We were blown away! Our app was Burrata on greens with fresh ripe tomatoes with a balsamic vinaigrette, delicious. Then Jan had Ravioli that she really enjoyed and I had Scaloppini al Limone, delicious veal in a lemon sauce accompanied by penne olio. Fine Italian dining in downtown Bolton with awesome food, good ambience and a great host, Tony!

Tony is the owner/host/chef. He’s very friendly, tentative and a great cook. Our personal favourite is his mushroom soup (off the menu).

We’ve been to Allegro 3 times now. It’s become our birthday tradition and hope to continue it for many years.
