Daal Roti Indian Restaurant

Ordered food, the quantity for the mains is very questionable. Containers are half-full.

Decent taste but better options available

Indian restaurant without curry. Sounds weird, but yes that's what happened today with me. Apparently they order curries from their head kitchen and they are having issue and thus restaurant doesnt serve curry.

Issues happens. But why not close the restaurant until you fix your issues. Update Google so ppl won't drive up 20 mins.

Anyways, lately have seen many issues like this with daal roti. Their franchise model has killed the experience we use to get.

We went to their Bolton location for dinner. Food was very tasty like home made and the service was quick & friendly.

We dined in and ordered the yellow dal and Reshami Kadahi paneer. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The dal was extremely watery, and the reshami kadahi paneer had only five small pieces of paneer in the entire dish. When we raised our concern with the staff, possibly the manager or owner ..we were told they normally serve only nine pieces. Still, we had clearly counted only five.

It felt odd to be told that the number of paneer pieces is counted, especially when the quantity served didn’t match that claim. On top of that, the rotis were incredibly thin almost like papad. Considering the quality and portion sizes, the food felt overpriced. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Food was alright but was priced higher than should be. Once had the makhni daal and rice bowl and next time goat curry bowl. The goat curry had barely any goat in it. I was not impressed at all. It was pretty much rice and curry. No goat. I may never go here again.
The franchisee is a good hard working guy.

Had catering for 65 people from this place and would really recommend going to this place again and again one of the best Indian restaurant in bolton and they really accommodated according to our requests
