Great place for meat and friendly staff all was welcoming
Amazing butcher, quality pantry staples and mouth watering cafe counter 👏👏👏
This place has such good quality meat. We got the pork shoulder and we are so so impressed. Will definitely be coming back.
This was a nice country store with interesting food and treats.
Excellent choice for supporting local farmers and for supplying your family with healthy foods.
Incredible meats and sandwiches! Did I mention sandwiches? Staff super welcoming. Great spot in the summer if you're driving by. I go out of the way to pop in here for a few years now.
My husband and I stopped by yesterday for lunch on a special occasion, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We were eating outside with our dog, so we went in separately to order. Both of us encountered the same rude, dismissive attitude from the woman behind the counter.
When I approached, she didn’t greet me. She just snapped, “You want something?” in a tone that made it clear she was annoyed I was there. When I asked basic questions about the menu items, she rolled her eyes and acted irritated, even though no one else was waiting. I felt rushed, unwelcome and uncomfortable.
My husband later told me she acted exactly the same toward him, even giving him an annoyed look and refraining from answering him when he politely greeted her. If I hadn’t been hungry and unfamiliar with the area, I would have walked out and went elsewhere.
The person who handed me my food was kind, and the other staff seemed pleasant. The food was fine, though overpriced. But the attitude from the woman taking orders overshadowed everything. I tried not to let her ruin our special day, but it is confusing when you're just a customer trying to order something and the person treats your poorly. I wasn't going to post a review, in case this person was just having a bad day. However, after looking at other reviews and photos, it seems this is how this person treats customers. I'm posting my review because this person may be the owner, which is concerning. If this is how customers are treated, I can only imagine how staff feel.
I won’t be returning. I’ll be recommending that friends from the city choose the other small town cafe shops to visit that are warm and welcoming, like the Hockley and Terra Cotta general stores.
I’m not sure how this place is considered an attraction or a restaurant. Its a butcher shop with high quality meats and preserves. They have a small coffee counter with a few baked goods. 3 small tables. Wouldnt call it a restaurant at all. Nonetheless, it was quaint and they were friendly.
Best beef
the best for meat!

An average experience. The curry chicken wraps were 15 dollars each and there was barely any chicken inside it. Mostly filled with lettuce and kale...the workers did not seem friendly at all either. Overall, everything that is sold there is overpriced. A very commercialized farm indeed. Overhyped and underwhelming. There are better farms elsewhere.
Best steak 🥩😋
nice。store, with local farm produce. Grass fed beef and steaks as well.
My wife and I stumbled upon this place and it was a pleasant surprise! Friendly staff and amazing home cooked food! We came home and raved about it to our family.
Such a cozy and fuzzy place.. Got the rustic, vintage vibe to it.. we didn’t particularly like the chicken wrap but we ordered iced latte(s) with almond milk and that was quite fresh and tasty. The place is quite calming.
