Thank God my husband was targeted in their Facebook ads for a place where we can get local & excellent quality meats. One quick google search later, we have now visited Heatherlea Farms AT LEAST once a month. We DREAM about their Farmer Gord's Steak Sandwich and the BEST EVER grilled cheese. (We even had the pleasure to tell Gord we love the steak sandwich named after him!!!!) We are totally hooked on their steaks and their Korean BBQ short ribs, which have now become a tradition for us to haul and enjoy on our annual summer camping trip at Algonquin. We have introduced my parents, my in-laws & friends to this amazing, one-of-a-kind spot. We've even seen some of their cows out on their front lawn during the summer. Truly a magical place.

We were just driving to bell fountain and we came across Heatherlea. And it was a beautiful , welcoming and warm place.We bought some dairy, Angus beef ? burgers, beautiful gift items. We had a great coffee. We will come for a brunch and more meat soon

This is a very charming country store, a little pricey but that is to be expected. All staff is very friendly, with the exception of the man behind the meat counter. This has got to be the rudest person I have ever encountered in retail. I have tried to give this place a few chances, thinking I just got him on a bad day. Nope, he is just plain rude. I don't know how you can do business this way. Definitely will not be coming back.

Has the grilled cheese and I must say it was very very good. The caramelised onions added an extra tang to the 2 cheese sandwich, served with a pickle. Perfect complement to the cappacino. Worth a visit for sure.

I’ve been coming to Heatherlea for years. Produce and meats are always high quality. Bakery is on a whole other level - chocolate chip cookies and tarts are my favourite. Treated myself to lunch there for the first time today and I was blown away. Their peameal on a bun and fries were fantastic. Latte was awesome too. Service is amazing - staff here are always smiling and make my trips worthwhile. Definitely recommend this place!!

I popped in at closing and I was not expecting this farm shoppe to be the treasure it is…I picked up their gourmet focaccia with rosemary and cherry tomatoes. Delicious !!!I cannot wait to come back in August with friends for lunch.Pros Quaint indoor/outdoor seating and so many local and organic products ! Plus a butcher, a baker and a barista!Cons I did not know they closed at 5 pm.I am definitely coming back.

This is a beautiful place with lots of potential for people from the GTA who want to go to a farm for lunch and just sit and enjoy nature. Unfortunately, there is very little outdoor seating, they really need to invest more outdoor seating, benches, etc. They also need a backup chef so people don't make the trip and there is no chef that day. If you are going to advertise this place all over the GTA, you need to be better prepared by cross training your staff so you don't rely on one person to do a job.
