I went with my mum on Boxing Day, during an ice storm, when almost everything else was closed.
As a long-time Caledonian, this place had faded into the background for me. What Ian has done here deserves recognition. You feel the care the moment you walk in. He has poured real heart and soul into bringing this space back to life.
Hospitality was a full 10 out of 10. The atmosphere felt genuine, welcoming, and thoughtful. This is the kind of place worth supporting and celebrating. Special thank you to Milka for her exceptional service and memory of my families last visit. We're coming back 100%

We have been once for breakfast which took much longer for the food to arrive than expected. The portions were great and quality was fantastic. We decided to go for lunch and the staff did not acknowledge use for almost 10 minutes. So left never to return.

They have specials for each night of the week, How can you go wrong. Food is good love the wings. Got the brisket meal with onion rings and Mac and cheese. 👌🏼had some leftover for lunch the following day. PSA get the burnt ends !

Really fun bbq type spot! Stopped in w my bestie for a pint and ordered the burnt ends and they were awesome! Both staff we saw were delightful and Milka was a sweetheart and very funny :) will definately be back!!

We are from out of town and stopped in for a quick bite to eat before heading home. We had the pulled pork pizza and the brisket dinner. The portions were huge and delicious. We could not believe the size of the small pizza with tons of pork for the price! Kudos to the chef for a great meal! I wish I had taken a photo but we just dove right in!

I got chicken nachos from there the other week and got food poisoning due to the chicken not being cooked right I talk to a few friends and they said they had the same experience with getting sick or just not having the food cooked properly I don’t recommend going there at all

Had the breakfast 🍳! Ordered Eggs Pot, it was delicious! They also served coffee with free refills.
We had such a great experience at Hammer Hogs! Came in last night with a group of ladies and the place was absolutely packed, but the service didn’t miss a beat. There was only one server working, she was blonde and a younger girl (wish I had caught her name!) but she handled everything like a pro. Friendly, fast, and on top of it all despite the busy crowd for dinner. I was getting exhausted watching her run around.
No complaints regarding atmosphere or the restaurant itself at all and the food was amazing. I had the new Chicken Club and it was delicious. Big compliments to the chef! Definitely looking forward to coming back in the winter when us ladies get together again.

Lunch and dinner or even going for a few drinks usually no issue. Breakfast didn’t even get to try. Took 15min….maybe even 20 and my food still wasn’t out. I ordered before I sat down as I looked online prior to going and knew what I wanted. I was the only person in the restaurants. I’ve worked BOH breakfast and it doesn’t take that long.
I left a tip for the FOH woman who took my order. BOH women needs to get themselves together. This ain’t The View if there’s two. That order should’ve been out in under 10 given even with homefries. There was no meat.

I have had take out twice. Both times the food was very good. The hand held special on Thursdays are a great choice. If you love wings well Wednesday is your day to get your fill. Great size and cooked just right. The servers both times have been very helpful. The restaurant is quite big inside. The decor is either something you like or don't. Parking is a bit limited but there are options if you look around. They have daily specials and music nights. You can even go for a walk by the river across the street.

Unnecessarily slow without explanation. It took 30 minutes for the appetizer and over an hour for a wrap and fries to arrive. There were only 3 other tables filled and no apology or explanation for slow, shabby service.
