Food was great, specially for the price. The place is definitely dated and could use some work but it is a great location. Will come back in the summer.

What an amazing burger I had today, had the Oasis Burger, two patties and cheese.
Also the fries are incredible, fresh cut! Love that they are not salted so you can salt according to preference. Great service and lovely setting.

Highly recommend stopping by here for ice cream or a quick lunch! Amazing service, lovely atmosphere looking over the bridge & river, and delicious food. Being from Alabama, US; this stop through town gave me a feeling of home! Can’t wait to come back regularly.

After reading Chad's review I thought like the owner he must have been having a bad day. My dad would bring me here growing up and I thought it would be a great thing to bring my daughter and share the same experience. This place is drastically over priced. We had 2 burgers a footlong 2 combos and a milk shake and it cost 60 dollars. The food was decent I guess but it was hard to swallow the amount it just cost for 3 of us to eat. Personally I struggled with how many stars. The staff was friendly and that's the reason I'm giving any stars at all.
It always leave a bad taste in my mouth when an owner comments on a review like he did chads and I should have listened to my gut.
Let's just hope I don't throw up the over priced food i just ate as well
To be clear we ordered
Cheeseburger (small combo with fries)
Footlong with a milk shake
Mozzarella burger small combo with onion rings (a small handful)

We had a lovely meal outside on a perfect windy fall day. The french fries are so nice and crispy, burgers were delicious better than Hutch's.
Wheelchair accessibility: i use a walker and the seating was nice and roomy and I didn't have a problem getting in and out.

Cute place, advertised on a roadtrip package we bought. More hype in the advertising then the place.

First came here as a kid, somehow the portions and prices have stayed the same - and the quality of food!
A staple on any drive to lake Erie. Don't understand how anyone would want to pass this by.

A friend brought me to Caledonia for a day trip.
Decided to get some fries and gravy for lunch. The younger people working were so polite and friendly. Fries well cooked and WAY more than anticipated for a medium! And the gravy was delicious.
I hope to come back again!!

Ate here at 4:30 (dinner time rush hour). Place was dead (first red flag). No locals during dinner rush (second red flag).
The whole place looks like a run down tourist trap, with bugs everywhere in the dining area - despite the garbage being 30+ feet away (third red flag).
We were checking out houses in Caledonia, so figured we'd stop in anyways as I remember going here in the '90s.
Not only did they mess up my order (asked for a "Big Lou" after the founder.... bet he'd be happy to see the state this place is in) it cost $52 for a burger & fries, (for me) fish & chips (my wife) and a grilled cheese (my son). We got home 20 minutes ago and I vomited everything up.
Fries were undercooked, oil-soaked and nasty. My son's grilled cheese was cold, somehow, and my wife's "Haddock" looked like it came frozen from a box. She got no tartar sauce and her fries were likewise undercooked.
Literally was telling my wife it feels like I got robbed on the drive home, and then we get home and I threw up everything I ate.
There is a reason the locals don't stop here. Read the negative reviews to see how the owner treats his victims... I mean customers.
Edited to reply to Owner:
Hey Chris! I notice you didn't address the lack of locals, the low quality of your "food", or the fact that your food made me sick (and you also served it to my 2 year old with no issues!). What a guy. As for the "10s of 1000s" you serve - are they invisible? How about the complete lack of locals? How about the review from the guy who BUILT YOUR SHOP ORIGINALLY saying it's trash?
Look, maybe you need to get off Google Reviews and take some cooking classes or something before somebody does something drastic like call Health Canada with a food safety concern.
How's that for a "red flag day" boss?

The serving size for ice cream at this location is shameful, save your money, go somewhere else.

Went here because it has been a "landmark " for about a hundred years. It looks it with peeling paint and missing roof tiles. Heavy rain didn't enhance the experience as dining was Alfredo. It's the first time in a long while I have actually not finished a burger and fries.
