After a day at the beach, we decided to try this spot for a roast beef dip dinner, and it turned out to be a great choice—no reservation needed on the busy Saturday evening of the August long weekend. The service was prompt and attentive, which added to the experience.

The roast beef dip did not disappoint. One standout feature of the sandwich was the crispy onions, which I really enjoyed. The au jus was flavourful and had a thicker consistency that clung to the sandwich, unlike the watery versions I've encountered elsewhere. This made dipping my fries in it a real treat.

That said, I did have one critique: the fries were clearly frozen. While they were cooked to a nice golden brown and served hot, they didn't have the fresh taste I was hoping for. It’s a small detail, but it detracted a bit from the overall experience.

A nice casual bar and grill. Our host and server were both friendly and kind. The food, poutine, burger, and turkey sandwich, was good except for needing a bit more seasoning on the burger. Music on the patio was too loud for the afternoon lunch service. Also had a very tasty locally made IPA by Oranje Son!

Food is excellent! For the most part. Mains seem in-house made which is great. Sides seem Sysco or GFS. Service is very slow even at slow times. Would go again when time permits. Fair price for quantity. Good alcohol selection. Plentiful indoor seating and a lovely outdoor patio that is well shaded.

We decided to give restaurant 1 more experience. Newly renovated same old kitchen!! 1 hour wait for 2 burgers, half order of nachos and a chicken wrap. Ridiculous. Burgers way over done. It was a Wednesday at 4pm. We even waited for a table and no one acknowledged us. Too busy training new staff.

Food was great and the wait staff was great, but they should train the hostess how to do their job.Was in tonight and she ignored us, we stood there for a good 10 min. before we were taken to our table.

Don't tell my Mama but it was the best home made meal (Portobello Chicken & cheesey garlic bread) I've had in a long time! Service was top shelf.
