The live music was great and the staff were awesome. New to Cambridge and it will now be a regular visit.

Excellent service, amazing food, and they always have great live music. The new chef has definitely elevated the menu. My only complaint is that I wish beef brisket was still on the menu!

Awesome impromptu Sunday evening at Argyle Arms, wings, chicken tacos, and fresh cut fries were all delicious! They've just started running music bingo on Sunday evenings, the host was fun and engaging. We stayed for the whole game and won a prize, definitely will be back on a Sunday night.

Went there for dinner with a mate and had an incredible experience. Our server (Ty) was hilarious and makes the best beverages; and our food was incredible. The ceviche melts in your mouth! I’ll definitely be going back there, as will my mate!

Food was pretty good. Service was horrible. No drink menu when we went. Glass of wine was $19. No drink deals when we asked. Not worth the money.

Went with friends for the wing special. They said the wings were mediocre, they made better at home. I told the waitress I am a pescatarian she looked at me like I had two heads. I had the Caesar salad no bacon & crab cakes, Caesar was super small for $16 no extra cheese was added which was requested as there was no bacon. Crab cakes were about double the size of a twoonie, I did not taste any crab mostly pepper, they were dressed nice with a chutney (crushed tomatoes with rosemary) and wild flowers, would have preferred that i could taste actual crab meat. Beer is limited to local breweries not a fan should offer bottle service as I had some Heineken in the vehicle we came in. Spent $50 just for my food and one draft going to have supper now. Prices are outrageous menu is quite limited and the food not so good for the price and the hype. Chef's should have a bit more pride when using crab even if it's from a can. Taste before serving.

I had the pleasure of performing live music at The Argyle Arms on August 4. It was a great experience from load-in to load-out!The hospitality of the staff was second to none and they were incredibly accommodating during my time there.A particular shoutout to Christa who did an amazing job serving the patrons with a smile and sense of humour! She showed she cared about her clients and was a joy to work with.I highly recommend The Argyle Arms! Patrons will appreciate the respectful and friendly staff! Great work!

This review is for the NEW Argyle Arms, not to be confused with reviews for the old pub.I wanted this so bad to be the best idea for our new "go-to" watering hole and restaurant. Sadly, I feel like it may not stick around the core without some drastic changes.I can appreciate the quirks of the opening process, and with that said, we waited a bit before visiting the newly relaunched operation. All the hype of the reopening and the lineage of the owners Sugar Run in Kitchener and Babylon Sisters in Waterloo, we thought, perfect! A vast selection of wine and spirits...nope.Upon entry, the smiles of the staff seemed disengaging and nonchalant. We seated ourselves on the patio. After several ticks of the clock, water and menus arrived. We were told of the newly added items, to which one of the options was down to the last offering. After approximately 12-15 minutes the wait staff returned to take our drink order. I saw a rotating craft beer selection upon arrival and requested it. It was not available, and, in fact, had not been available for two weeks.*This makes no sense. A)wipe it off the chalkboard when it sells out, and B) you pride yourself with two establishments that cater to alcohol. You should know the importance of having stock. We got tired of waiting and decided the service was lackluster already. Continued dissatisfaction was not on our agenda.Fix the menus, cater to the needs of your clientele, and work on efficiencies. Be better Argyle Arms 2023. We hope to try your establishment again in the future so that we can give you the praise you rightfully deserve.

I'm happy that place reopened but definitely not a Pub anymore. Higher end menu (price reflects that), portions are okay. Had the burger. Flavour was okay but burger texture was weird and bacon "jam" made it super salty. Was disappointed that no Malt Vinegar was available for fries (I'm half English so I know) and was surprised to get charged for the side of Ketchup. Will I be back? Eventually
