Our first time trying the brunch menu. Of the many interesting choices my wife choose the Waffles with Southern Fried Chicken, and I choose the Beertown Benedict, and in addition we shared a bowl of fresh chopped fruit. My wife finished every bite of her meal, the waffles were crunchy on the outside and soft in the centre, perfect. My benedict came with crunchy smoked bacon, avocado slices, home fries, and and delicious side salad, delicious. Nerissa get our coffee mugs topped up, and provide friendly, efficient service. We both look forward to brunch in the near future.
I had my gender reveal here and the waiter was so nice. They had little bags to put over the specialty drinks. I asked to bring up my friends in the colour of my gender. They also have the table set up really cute. I would definitely go here again for any occasion.
Great experience as always, our waiter was friendly and ensured to advise the kitchen about our dairy allergy even though we ordered off the plant based menu which meant a lot to us!
We had 2 servers for our group of 10 for a birthday party and they did so well especially since 7 of them were kids under 10 They catered to our party so well and made it special by asking us what dessert to give the birthday boy and instaed of their regular brownie gave him a raspberry sorbet which he loves. We love and enjoy beertown - delicious food and great value. Great options for different dietary restrictions that are delicious. One comment we had was that the burger and bun we ordered from the kids menu was slightly charred - not sure if they take kids burgers with different temps or just cook them all the same. Our kids prefer more med rare beef options so perhaps something to consider.
Have been here several times, always enjoy great service. Restaurant is the same as other Beertown restaurants and similar to other Charcoal Group establishments.
It was lovely! Meg, our server, was fantastic! And food was delicious as always. Definitely worth the visit.

Went there tonight for the first time with my wife and friends. What a great time. The drinks were fantastic, the apps awesome and the service was simply perfect. It went above and beyond. Our server was great and Rachelle the manager may have been the best I’ve ever experienced in a hospitality setting. Thanks for a great time. We will be back!

It was a windy August 28th 2005 in New Orleans. I was in town for a week researching catfish restaurants for my new concept restaurant in Haliburton. I had been to a dozen establishments so far and was growing tired of the filthy fish. My last stop was like all the others. With one exception. Walter. Walter was a regular at Down the Hatch, we got to talking, and after a few beers he said we need to go for a walk.
We walked for about 15 minutes, through side streets and alleyways. We finally came across a fleamarket, that looked very quiet outside of one stand. Line up around the block. We walked right up to the front and Walter was handed a couple takeout boxes. We sat down and he popped the lids, once the steam clear, we were greated with half a dozen prices of golden fried chicken. The chicken smelled delightful and tasted like heaven. That was the best Southern Fried Chicken I've ever had...until I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken plate at Beertown Cambridge last Friday. My goodness, did Beertown deliver. It may have been the 5 IPA's I had before the meal arrived, but the portions were generous, the chicken crispy and the potato salad left me speachless. It took me right back to that time in New Orleans.
My catfish restaurant failed unfortunately, and I heard they got some weather in New Orleans after I left, but I often wonder about that fried chicken joint and was happy I found something similar in Cambridge. 5 Stars would highly recommend.

Beer Town Public House is a really pleasant place to visit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was very good: friendly and attentive. We truly enjoyed the food as well; everything we ordered was delicious and well prepared.

We had an amazing experience dining here tonight. We were greeted warmly at the door by manager Rachel who promptly brought us to table and checked on us halfway through our meal. Such a nice touch! Our server Dawson was great as always, we always request his section for a reason, so cheery and outgoing. The staff are half the reason we continue coming back, and we're already planing our next visit
