Beertown Public House Cambridge

We had Sarah helping us Friday night and I cannot fault a single thing she or any other member of staff did. Genuinely one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. I'm a diner with a difficult food allergy and the staff made me feel like just a normal diner while still making me safe and accommodated. The manager, Rachel, came over to check on us and she gave me her card and really made sure I understood what was being done to help me. I love, love, love the plant based menu options and they make my allergy so much easier to navigate. I got to choose a whole meal instead of just having a garden salad and I could've cried, and almost did, at how happy that made me. Little things like special menus mean so much to the people who order from them and the fact I can have safe, tasty food with service like we had on Friday... Blown away. Pay all of them more - they deserve it!

We were there at 12:30 and it was quite loud, but quieted down by the time we were done. The service was prompt and the staff took great care with our dietary concerns (gluten-free and allergy to dairy). The food was very good and portion sizes were great. Enjoyed the experience very much!

It was very nice lunch of the Po'or boy shrimp with Kale salad. Good combo with a beer.

It was a late lunch and very quiet at Beertown I had Beertown Pad Thai with shrimps and beer. It was nice.

Beertown is one of my family's favourite places to celebrate in Cambridge. There are lots of options on the menu, definitely something for everyone. I always get a Cherryosity cider (delicious!) and my husband likes to try different seasonal beers on tap. The turkey burger was delicious, my Mom loved the fried chicken and my Dad always gets a steak sandwich. My husband tried the brisket burger and was not disappointed. (The whole restaurant smelled like brisket when we walked in, mouthwatering!) Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Genuinely warm people who obviously enjoy their jobs! :)

There were 4 of us in our party and everyone was 100% happy with their meal. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender, the sweet potato fries were the best that we have ever had. Our waitress Jocelyn was excellent, making us feel welcome and comfortable. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and the beers, which was very much appreciated. We will definitely return again.

I love when I/we are truly lucky enough to get Suzy as our server. She truly is spectacular and heightens the experience for myself and most importantly my business guests. Keep up the great work Suzy and the entire Beertown Cambridge squad! 🙏🙏

Lindsay, as always was incredible in her hospitality first approach to connecting with the guests. The food was spectacular, fresh and timely delivery of the trio of fish tacos. Thank you, team. The drive from Toronto to Cambridge is part of the joy in visiting my beloved family. Thanks for treating us like Royalty!

My lunch was much better than last week. I had the cheese dog with Kale salad. It was wonderful. Beers were good too. Still waiting to hear “Team Management”. About my hot dog from last week.

I had the hot dog and kale salad. Next time I will pick the cheese dog. The other dog wasn't great.

I am with a theatre production company and after rehearsals / shows we go to beertown in Cambridge... always great service and the food is always tasty and fresh... staff is always friendly and accomodating.... well done ... been to some other beertown locations but Cambridge is the BEST!

My husband and I wanted to have all of our out of town guests together the night before our wedding in September so we reached out to Beertown to see if they would be able to accommodate 75 people on a Thursday night. The manager immediately said yes and did not ask for a deposit or anything to secure our spot. Communication with the restaurant was great and seamless. When my husband and I showed up the day of our reservation, they had reserved half the restaurant for our party, had more than enough staff serving the whole group and had decorated the space for us without us even mentioning anything. All the servers were incredibly nice, the space was beautiful, the food was amazing and everyone was well taken care of in a timely manner. We cannot thank the staff of Beertown enough for all they did for us, we will definitely be back any time we are in town and cannot recommend the venue enough for any kind of gathering. Everyone who attended continues to talk about how amazing the evening was. Thank you again Beertown Cambridge!! :)

Had the absolute best experience here yesterday when my husband and I had a date lunch, just to discover our FAVOURITE menu item had been axed. We looked everywhere for it and couldn't find it, so we asked our server if the DIY lettuce wraps were still a thing? She said they had been removed from the menu, but because they were slow, she offered to ask the kitchen if they could still make it. We love it in a bowl, so that's how my husband ordered it. Amazing. Even better than we remember. Really appreciated that.

I decided to change it up and have the fish tacos and Beertown salad. I'm still dreaming about that salad. The tacos were also drool-worthy and I shared with my husband, but I really didn't want to share the salad. Looking forward to coming back!

Food was good. Chicken cutlet on my burger was raw in the middle. Ate around it. Didn’t bother to mention to server as I didn’t want to have it comped. Other than that no issues.
