My wife and I ordered the chicken strip dinners for takeout (Friday night) just before they closed. We haven't ordered since the ownership has changed hands.
Let me start by saying, the service was very polite. The chicken strips were out of this world. The fries perfect, and so well cooked. The hot honey sauce for the chicken was the bomb. The coleslaw made me want to eat the plastic it was packed in. Well done!
My wife is an incredible cook and I compare everything to how she cooks it.
Cambridge Restaurant hits the mark. Price was right, food was excellent. We will be back again and again.

We both had hot hamburger sandwich. One was with mashed potatoes and gravy the other was with fries and gravy. Absolutely outstanding the gravy was awesome and the homemade hamburger patties were fantastic. Great flavor and delicious.

This place is a classic homestyle restaurant in Cambridge; we have been quite a few times and can confidently say it hits all the markers of a great place to keep in rotation. Here are some key points:

Staff: The staff is great. They have been super attentive and polite every time, and do a great job of checking in to make sure you have everything you need.

Food: The food is delicious. We have tried quite a few menu items over our visits; my go-to is the Meatloaf, and my partner's is the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Their fries and seasoned gravy is really good too.

Location: The location is very cozy; I love that they have all the heritage photos of what the area used to look like. You get a beautiful peek into what life looked like here, and they're one of the few places I've been to that do the classic look well.

Overall: I can see why this place is considered a staple in the local community, and it will continue to stay in our rotation of reliable family restaurants.

Only diner I’ve been to that offers a small breakfast platter with a little bit of everything including baked beans. Price is reasonable at $6.50 and bottomless coffee is $3 which they’re very good at topping up. However, the home fries were not fresh and more than half was hard and broken up in to tiny pieces.

We come here regularly for your awesome chicken sandwich special. Unfortunately today, it wasn't so good. I would appreciate an email address to mention our experience. I have looked at website hoping to address this Thank you

Edit**. Returned this evening and had the same chicken sandwich dinner. It was excellent. Very moist and coating was crispy and cooked perfectly . Thank you to the owners who comped our meals tonight, we really appreciated it and enjoyed ourselves.

You just know the food will be fire the second you walk in here. And I was right, it was fire.

We used to love this place and bring our kids here often. But lately the food went down hill. I think we need to look for another family friendly place nearby...
