Fantastic halibut and chips at a very reasonable price!!! Batter was perfect, fish was cooked just right and good old school fries!!!

First time going here, and will definitely be going back. The portions were very generous, and the quality of the fish was excellent. Really like the breading, it was literally and not oily.

French fries really bad they were over blanched (fried twice) we did not eat them bad taste. To bad .

Had the haddock and fries... excellent. The fish was so fresh, and the service was second to none. When I come to Cambridge, this is definitely my go to place for fish and chips

I have been a long time customer of this captain georges location basically monthly go to fish and chips place since they opened here. Tonight was my worst experience. Wasn't anything or of norm, ordered fish and chips, picked up and took home. Get home to my surprise the fries some just barely cooked and luke warm. The fish was not cod that I always have ordered. Also very thin pieces of fish mostly consisting of batter. First time ever I didn't eat it all.
There was a complete different crew then I usually have seen working. If this is what we have to expect when ordering I will have to find another fish and chip location.
Please bring back the old employees if this is the case

Service was great, but this was the best fried fish I’ve eaten in decades! It was delicious, crispy, & not greasy in the least! We took friends out for dinner her & they we very impressed as well.

Went for Friday evening dinner, was the first time, so very good!!! Wow! Light, crispy, not greasy-how did they do that? My absolute favorite fish in Cambridge!
