Best place for fish and chips by far! I have been going here for as long as I can remember and Ryan is probably one of the best fish cooks out there!! (Secret Tip: Ask for your fries smashed!)

Got the one piece fish n chips, Fries were flattened on bottom of a small box with the fish ontop. Batter was not the best. Just fell of the fish. And also got two poutines, Great portions on those.

If you're in the Waterloo Region and craving authentic British-style fish and chips, you have to try Caz's Great Fish. I've tried many places in the area, and this one truly stands out. They've been around forever, and it's clear they know what they're doing.

They serve all the proper staples—halibut, haddock, and cod—and they do it right. I usually go for the halibut, which is always cooked perfectly: crisp batter and tender, flavorful fish. And the mushy peas are done right just like in the UK.

Whether you're a Brit abroad or just love a good plate of fish and chips, you won’t be disappointed.

We recently visited Caz's and had a wonderful experience, on a very busy Good Friday. Our waitress Steph was quick to greet us and take our order. She was very pleasant and efficient, returning several times to ask how everything was. She made a busy crowd very tolerable!! Our meal was fantastic, great job Caz's, and well done Steph!!

I can’t say enough good things about Caz's Great Fish! The fish was so fresh and tender, with a crispy batter that was absolutely perfect.

The staff here are wonderful— especially Anna. She served the food for us and she is friendly and truly welcoming. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in serving high-quality food.

If you love fish and chips, don’t miss out this spot. One of the best in town. I’ll definitely be back soon!

I just got takeout from here. Didn't expect much, especially with the dated decor, but the broiled fish was phenomenal, perfectly seasoned, and cooked. However, nothing prepared me for one of the best poutine I've ever had. I would come here again almost solely for the poutine because it was that good. 10/10 would recommend.
