Food was delicious, but the service was horrendous

One of our favourite go-to spots!

We were informed the store was closing early, which we completely understood. But when we tried to place an order, the staff made zero effort to welcome us. No greeting, just cold stares and eye-rolling like we were an inconvenience. If you’re open, at least act like you want customers there. A little courtesy goes a long way — unfortunately, it was missing here.

Went out for lunch this afternoon today at Chuck’s this location is much better than Hespeler road one. Server was fast and friendly and the food is also great for an affordable price

Very nice to go too...The prices are fair but the food is fantastic...Very tasty and lots of it..we had ribs and wings plus the onion rings were unbelievable tasty...We will definitely have them again...thank you again the servers also were so very ple

Not sure what's going on at Chucks. No organization at all. 2 for dinner and 1 entre arrived in 20 min the second took 45. Didn't enjoy eating in front of other person. Waitresses just don't give a rats ass.

The prices are cheaper than others, but that doesn’t matter all too much considering that the food here sucks. All the appetizers come out looking disgusting. The only good food here is the fries

Service is slow and they try to get you with all these hidden fees. Just increase the price of your food!!!

Came in with my wife and kids for dinner to celebrate my sons birthday. We had Kylie as our server and she was amazing. She continued to check in on us to make sure our drinks were full and food was tasting good. She even brought ice cream out for his birthday and showed interest in what he had planned for the day. Would highly recommend this chucks location as well as having Kylie as a server!

I went to chuck’s on Dundas yesterday for a birthday drink with my hubby, my sister and brother in law, we live locally so frequent the bar a lot but this is the first time I have taken the time to write a review. We love the atmosphere there and find it even better since the new owners took over. Yesterday our server was Sadie she was amazing friendly and professional but what made our visit was when the manager brought us a complimentary plate of chicken teriyaki stir fry to share and it was delicious I will surely order that on my next visit. So a huge shout out to chuck’s and folks if you haven’t tried it please do I’m sure you’ll have a good experience and reasonable prices both for food and drinks.

Today we had drinks at the newly managed Chucks on Dundas Street. Sadie was an excellent server the last few times we have been there. She is very friendly and super efficient. The restaurant has recently been sold and is under new management. The changes are very noticeable. The restaurant is so much cleaner. The new General Manager Mohar is very friendly and welcoming. He is training his staff to a high standard. He is revamping the menu. Today he brought around samples of various chicken fajitas sizzler plates for the customers to sample. It was delicious and we look forward to them being added to the menu. There is some new staff members but it was nice to see Kylie still present. She has been there for a number of years and is an excellent server. Thanks Chucks for the positive changes to this establishment. Val Beadle

Been coming here for a few years now. Amazing atmosphere and food. The staff, servers, kitchen, and management are all very welcoming and amazing to talk to which makes a great experience everytime.
