I used Clover Kitchens to cater two training sessions we held at the office this past month. Our staff raved about the food both times. I will be using them again and again and would recommend them easily.

Found a new hidden gem in Cambridge while visiting for the day. Had the chicken, bacon, cheddar with pesto on focaccia and the Dublin soup. Sandwich was huge and easily can feed 2 people. Soup was amazing as well. Everything is fresh and made in house from what I understand, even the bread. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. I will be back next time I am in Cambridge.

I ordered on Skip the dishes for 2 lunches today / tomorrow. The philly cheese steak sandwich was delicious. All fresh ingredients and very tasty. I love that you get a bag of chips (love eating sandwiches with chips) and a drink. I had a Raspberry Peach tea drink and even it was delicious. I tried the pasta salad YUM - and the Cesar Salad (each item individually packed) and very fresh.I got a butter tart for desert. I ate is slowly because it was so savory and sweet. Freshly baked / homemade. I have a Turkey BLT with Cranberry orange chutney for lunch tomorrow. I can't wait....Delicious food. This is my go - to lunch place now...

After 4 months of having lunch here almost daily, here’s my review. In short, it’s great, the food’s great, the staff are great, the atmosphere is great. However, I never leave short reviews on foods, so here’s the long version.Price:When I first got introduced to Clover Kitchens, I thought the prices on the board were for each sandwich, which to me seemed a bit expensive. Later, however, I found out those prices are all combo prices with chips & drink, which made their prices a lot more competitive, especially considering that the lunch special’s price is also the combo price. To me, the price is on par with a lot of the fast-food restaurants, if not cheaper, and a lot healthier.Food:Maybe it’s because I used to work in a kitchen, and maybe it’s because I have a chronic condition, I notice a bit more details than some others. Throughout the 4 months, I cannot recall one time that the ingredients were stale, and most of the time – if not all the time – they were fresh. The only “dry” ingredient I have had was the turkey, although I cannot fault them. To this day, I still couldn’t figure out how to make turkey not dry, nor could any of restaurant that I’ve tried.I could see butter being applied to the panini press, way better than pan spray, which I know some places do. Nothing is wrong with pan spray in my opinion, but butter is better. The sandwiches are typically hefty, all of them can easily last me over 5 hours, and one of them can last me the whole day. The presentation of both the sandwich and the packing is up there too.Very minimal microwave use, I only remember the microwave beeped twice in the period I was there, and I don’t even think it was for orders.Environment:In the old unit, it was decorated more like a bar. In the new unit, it is decorated more like a lounge. Both gave me the chill vibe, and I’m sure to others too, because every customer greets each other in some form, even if they don’t know each other.People:Overall, every staff member here is awesome, however I will mention 3, mainly because I deal with them most often.Jason: Owner, also awesome dude, every time we meet, he would express the appreciation for choosing them. Having a conversation with him would not make me feel awkward. Seems like a good host, and a good owner from what I can tell.Marlene: I don’t think she ever missed a call. Whenever we have questions about the services and the menu, she can always provide details on them. Also, thanks for letting me pick up some of my orders a few minutes after you are closed.Kylie: I’d say Kylie is the “pillar” of the front kitchen. She always greets with a smile, explains everything patiently, asks about people’s day, and she’ll ask customers if they are fine with a certain ingredient in the sandwich. I found out I was apparently allergic to one ingredient this way. If there was an ingredient that’s 86’ed, she can communicate to the customer to substitute, I’ve seen way too many people who failed to do that. I also don’t recall her panicking once when it was swamped. A pretty good cook and a pretty good server in one.Minor suggestions:1. Indicate the prices on the board are for combos.2. It seems like no one’s monitoring Instagram messages.3. More of a question, why not cut the sandwiches diagonally?

I was asked to set up a company BBQ for 65 people with two weeks' notice. Not only was Clover Kitchens able to fit us in but the staff they sent were wonderful. They arrived early with plenty of time to set up. The food was tasty and everyone was happy. I was even able to bring all the leftovers into the office the following Monday. Thank you so much for all your help and for making our event a success. Lastly, from a financial point of view, they were extremely well priced with many options.Next time, they will be the first call I make.

Spoke to Marlene about catering for a Bridal Shower in Ancaster April 22, 2023. She made a few suggestions to alter the menu for the event which was so helpful! The Asiago Chicken with roasted potatoes and asparagus was amazing! The service was efficient, on time and truly a positive experience. The Bridal cake was outstanding as well. Thanks again Marlene to you and your crew for your help, your knowledge and your kindness!!!Sue & Ana
