Came with a group of friends and ordered an iced coffee. Tasted really good black, didn't need anything added to it. Really nice selection of coffee and accessories, and the prices are reasonable. Only thing was it felt like a sauna inside, not sure why it was so hot in there. Tap to pay available and service was really good. But I will be back sometime!

Came by today for two lattes. For a little over $17 for the two drinks, we expected a better quality. I'd go back, it's just too overpriced for what you get to go on the regular.

Horrible service!!!!
Partner and I went in, seemed like the girl working was busy.
She said she'll be right with us, so we waited.
There was *only 2 other customers in the store before us and no one after us*, so we just sat down while we waited until the girl was free to take our order.
10 minutes go by, we see her walk out to behind the counter. We wait for her to say something. We made eye contact and she sat down in her chair behind the counter and pulled out her phone.
There was no customer service. We came here many times before whenever we were in town to visit family. I am not coming back after this visit!!

Cute looking place so I wanted to check it out. Not wheelchair or stroller accessible but I tried anyway. I managed to get into the cafe with the stroller on my own but the door is a struggle. The girl behind the counter just watched. She wasn't serving anyone. Coffee was okay but not great so not worth the effort for me.

Every time I choose to check this place out they’re either closed or taking 20 minute breaks and locking up shop. Very inconvenient especially when I googled their hours before making the trip over. I won’t be attempting this again.

I have been going to this place for years and i have always loved it. It is a a bit pricey, expected from a small cafe, but it was always worth it. Over the years i have always bought the same thing, and iced vanilla latte and a BLT. It was always so delicious. Recently though, over the past few months there has been employees there I had never seen before. They make the meals completely different than the past. The old boys that always made it were consistent with how they made the delicious sandwhich. Everytime I have went and these new employees were there they did not toast the bread and always gave horrible slices of tomatoes. Today mine was a very thick slice of the whole centre of the tomato, soooo many seeds and overall yucky! Anyways, this has just really disappointed me especially since i’m spending so much money and for 3 years I was always able to rely on grindhouse for a yummy meal.
Parking: Easiest to just park at library and walk over.

We ordered chicken panini ($15) and there was no actual pieces of chicken, but a slice of very salty chicken cold cuts with grilled bread. We were dining in but our panini(s) came in paper, take out container! I did not see anybody getting their orders on plates. I read some other reviews and looked at pictures but they definitely did not reflect what we "experienced".
They have specialty coffees but all served in big paper cups! We ordered espresso and we're very surprised to see it in the big paper cup. London fog had no tested at all ($7 per coffee/ London fog).
Total for this was $57 with tips.
There was only one young lady: taking orders, making coffees, sandwiches, paninis, packing... So service was very slow. She tried her best, and was very nice.
I drove there 40min to meet a friend. Definitely will not come back.

A nice and quaint cafe in Hespeler Village with bohemian vibes and supplemented by a cozy atmosphere. Should definitely try the loaded bagel.
