I’ve been a customer of this place since 2019, but unfortunately that ends today. The quality has been getting worse over time, and today’s experience was unacceptable.
We ordered $61 worth of food, and the taste was very poor. Even more concerning, we found a piece of plastic ribbon in the food, which is a serious health and safety issue.
What makes this even more upsetting is that my wife is currently in the hospital with labor pains. This situation added unnecessary stress during an already critical time.
This is completely unethical and unsafe. I will be reporting this incident to Public Health in Waterloo. If a business cannot maintain basic food safety and quality standards, it should not be operating.

Absolutely delicious love the rice with Shawarma and the shawarma poutines.
I ordered the chicken shawarma and was very disappointed. The lack of toppings and the flavor was disappointing. The shawarma was overpriced and I will not be returning
Only place I've ever been to where lettuce is seen as a topping for a salad and not the base. Chicken was good though.

Great place to get a quick bite to eat. The chicken shawarma poutine was delicious and the sauces were super tasty. You can also order bubble tea here. The staff was super friendly, will definitely eat here again!

Used to be a regular here. Not anymore. Not only did they raise the prices they immensely skimp out on the portions now. Will never come back. Pinching Pennie’s has costed this establishment many dollars.
