I think food here is very good. The braised beef cheek dish is very tender and well marinated. Only suggestion is that the sauce on it is a bit salty and would be perfect if salt level can be 30% less. 9/10.
The lamb shank is perfect. Tender and the flavour is well incorporated into the meat. 10/10.
Service was very good and the server and chef accommodated us very well.

Elixir Bistro is a fantastic hidden jewel in Belmont Village. The chef is the owner, and his skills are evident in every dish. Fair prices for what you get, good portions, and just delicious. Servers are friendly and professional (I’ve only met 2, the place is small). Only minor quibble is that they should put a small candle on each table. But still 5/5.
