We’ve been the Foundry before and we loved it so our expectations were good, but tonight the service was really poor. We waited forever for our food and we didn’t eat much - calamari, a smash burger and Cobb salad - nothing fancy. And there was a guy yelling at the bar and they did nothing about it. I could have gone to a run down pub and I would have better service.

The poutine was greasy and the cheese and oils pooled at the base of the mini cast iron dish. The calamari was chalky. I just had water and no one refilled my cup.

Everything on the menu is delicious. Servers are friendly and responsive. Love the atmosphere and the patio is amazing with fire pits!

We arrived around 12 today ( Sunday). First time. We were really impressed with the outside/ courtyard area. We went in and there were at least 5 servers and someone who looked to be the manager just hanging out and chatting at the hostess area. We were welcomed and seated right away. The hostess was great, giving us some info about the Gaslight District and events. We were seated with menus and decided on drinks. Our server came with water, told us the features and said she'd be back. Didn't take a drink order which is unusual. We sat there for probably 15 minutes then just left. Let me stress that the inside was not busy. The outside was not busy and they were clearly not short staffed. Reading through the reviews , this isn't an uncommon occurrence and I really don't understand where the disconnect is. Having worked in the industry for 10 years, I understand and expect basic steps of service. What's happening managers?

I had an incredible first date at the Foundry Tavern and couldn’t be more impressed! A huge thank you to Steve and Valerie for arranging the perfect table for us—it really set the tone for the evening. Steph, your service was absolutely outstanding and made the night even more special.
The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful with such a cool, lively vibe. The live music was the perfect touch, creating an amazing atmosphere without being overwhelming. Overall, it was a flawless experience from start to finish. I can’t wait to come back!

We had an appetizer but had to put our silverware on the table to use with our main course. I thought a side plate for silverware ot clean silverware for main course.

Our experience was a 3/5(maybe), but will give it another chance. No food on the patio after 930pm (so we sat in the bar, cool vibe), also a VERY limited menu. 2 out of 4 of us enjoyed our food choices. Service was disappointing, simply not attentive. Hoping for better next tine, will come earlier and review again :)
