This was our premier visit to Foundry but will not be our last. We did enjoy our experience. The company we keep were equally as pleased. We need to go back and try other items on the menu. We found the pricing to be reasonable. I wish they had other spice varieties to offer with the wings. We will be back. Make a reservation just to be sure. Free parking and free EV charging. Who has an EV? I dunno.

Easily one of the worst smash burgers I’ve had in my life. They use shredded iceberg lettuce about the same quality as McDonald’s. The American cheese tasted like plastic - akin to Kraft singles. The beef was way over cooked and dry. The buns looked like generic grocery store buns. For a $20+ burger, this was unfortunate. I wouldn’t have paid more than $12 for the quality I got.I also had the soup of the day, which was greatly uninspiring and too sweet. My partner’s French Onion Soup featured soggy bread chunks inside the soup and was also too sweet. The fries were decent though.Really wanted to like the place, but it’s overpriced and uninspiring. Located in the newly renovated historic Galt Gaslight District, it prices out a lot of the local population. Most patrons seem to come from out of town.If you want an upscale restaurant experience with a good view, go to Cambridge Mills.

My first visit to Foundry Tavern was very disappointing. I ordered the sweet potato and pecan salad with a piece of salmon. The portion size of the salad was tiny. It wasnt even appetizer size as far as i am concerned. When I complained, the waitress and manager both said that's the way it's supposed to be. The manager did offer to bring me something else but I didn't want to eat after my friends do I just asked for a bowl of soup. My friends' meals were good but the we did have to ask for cream for our coffee and salt and pepper too. I doubt that I will ever go back for another meal.

The Foundry Tavern aimed to please, and they hit a home run on every level! Beautifully located in the gaslight district of downtown galt, the tone is immediately set with a modern yet still slightly rustic & poetic warmth and charm, This ambiance is carried throughout the entire restaurant and bar area, capturing ur attention everywhere you look!! Each dining space offers an outside patio, which we enjoyed an evening cognac by the fire! This is a must experience!!!We ordered all appetizers, and we couldn't stop talking about the taste and presentation. Needless to say, we WILL BE BACK AGAIN... AND AGAIN

Great atmosphere, fantastic location. I can't say I'm big fan of the menu. My husband and I both like totally different things and we both struggle. I find the salads are loaded with heavy dressing over powering the actual food. Maybe good for sharing few little bites. But I hope they change their menu.

Great service. Loved the atmosphere. Caesar Salad was good, but the dressing was not balanced. Not sure what it is about rock-hard croutons? I make mine with a tiny bit of a chew finding them more flavourful and pleasant to eat. The burger was good, but next time I will order it without the sauce. That was my fault, not theirs. Sauce gets in the way of a good burger. Fries were tasty, but mushy inside. Hanger steak was outstanding and perfectly cooked.

I have been here twice. Once for dinner and once for brunch.I think the place is beautiful and provides a nice dining atmosphere overall. The one suggestion would be larger 2 person tables with better spacing. The ones in the center of the dining room are extremely small, and it was a big struggle to fit 2 dinner plates and drinks on them. Not to mention, the 2 person tables are very close and share a bench seat. It is very tight and a bit unwelcoming when trying to get up to go to the brunch buffet without disrupting your table neighbours. The food is good, I absolutely love their bread pudding and sticky toffee cake. I have dreams about those desserts! However, I would not recommend the churro donuts on their brunch menu. I ordered one, and when I went to cut it, oil pooled out of it. I thought maybe it was a sauce, but sadly, it was not. The server got me another one, but it had the same issue. Clearly, their fryer was not the correct temp.I also was very sad to hear that while coffee and 2 alcoholic drinks per person were included in brunch, a latte or other espresso drink was extra. I asked if my alcoholic drinks could be swapped for latte (I don't drink), but they said no. I think it is ridiculous that they would include expensive alcoholic drinks but not a latte for a brunch menu! It's even more ridiculous not to allow swap outs. The alcohol would be far more expensive than a simple latte!

For all-you-eat brunch in the area this is definitely the best for the price. $42 per adult and it includes 2 beverages (with unlimited tea and coffee). The buffet is smaller but you are able to order unlimited small plates from the menu which I like. I highly recommend the churro donut and Nashville hot chicken and waffle (not very spicy).

Incredible meal. The Lamb Shank fell apart with my fork. My wife said the steak she had was one of the best she ever had. Highly recommend!
