The place looked amazing with a lots of cake which are ready to go without placing an order in advance. The sales lady was not friendly and could not wait for us to select a cake. Back at home, the cake was not upto the expectations. It looks like the cakes were old and did not taste fresh. The lady had confirmed that the cakes were old new. Seeing reviews from Too good togo customers I really doubt if my cake was ready to be packed for the Too good to go app.
Very high price for the order too for the size of the cake but since it was not a preorder, I would pay the same for a fresh cake that meets minimum expectations.

Too Good To Go Experience. The sales person was not friendly. The treats in the box were literally just thrown in. The treats were uneatable. We threw them completely out. I expected them to be a little stale, but they were hard. Imagine trying to eat a cake that was hard. I have bought many cakes from LaCakery at full price but this has really soured my opinion on the whole organization. Worst $13 I have spent in my life! I own retail and to be honest I wouldn't tarnish my brand by doing this. Either offer at least decent product on Too Good To Go or don't bother listing on the app. This box was full of product that literally had gone bad.

I reserved a box off of too good to go, and when I got there the door was locked and the lights were off, but the open sign was still on. I've gotten boxes from them before, some of them are good but some of them were just a waste of money. they shouldn't of put boxes on too good to go if they aren't even open.

I stopped by La Cakerie on Hespeler Road in Cambridge today to pick up cannolis for Christmas, and once again, they did not disappoint. Their cannolis are absolutely amazing, and the service is just as exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I ordered more cannolis than they had on hand, and without hesitation, they went to the back and made fresh ones specifically for my order. That level of care and customer service really stands out. This is a fantastic place that I truly enjoy supporting. I continue to come here for all my desserts and festive cakes, and I highly recommend La Cakerie to anyone looking for quality, freshness, and great service

The cake was dry and overly sweet - clearly not moving their cakes and selling poor cake. The girl serving was annoyed to say hello and grumpy with her tone.. highly recommend not buying from here - very expensive too.
