We had a wonderful dinner at Langdon Hall to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. The food was perfection! I am vegetarian and they offer a whole vegetarian menu from appetizers to desserts. My husband's dinner was also spectacular. We had a beautiful view of the back of Langdon and a pianist was playing a grand piano through out the evening. Our waiter and sommelier were extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. The only tiny complaint is that the waiter was a wee bit over the top with explanations and was a bit intrusive while we were eating but he was also very friendly and welcoming. It truly was a night to remember!

We had an excellent dinner at Langdon Hall Dining Room. Warm ambience, attentive and respectful service, and excellent food. From the appetizers to the mains and the dessert. The Chianti we picked was also very good. We would definitely want to be back, and are happy to recommend this place to family and friends.

Beautiful boutique hotel with great food...buffet bar was a bit small in terms of variety but it was all very tasty and the hot breakfast was also delicious!! Definitely want to go back when it warms up!

I wouldn't be able to think of anything bad about our experience at Langdon Hall if I tried. My spouse and I had an amazing meal (smoked beef), the presentation, portion and flavour was outstanding. The staff in Langdon Hall are extremely professional and very knowledgable of every item on the menus. If you haven't been to Langdon Hall you must visit, beautiful setting, beautiful meal, and a second to none ambiance.

Overall the experience was good and the food was excellent. My only criticism would be that Open table asked if this reservation was for any special occasion and I selected Birthday as this dinner was to celebrate my wife's birthday. I was surprised the restaurant didn't seem to acknowledge this in any way which makes me question why the question was asked at time of reservation.

They were fixing their speakers for the first part of the meal so there was no music. Still the experience was amazing. The presentation of each dish was beautiful and the taste was absolutely incredible. The mains were delicious and the additions on the plate added to the tastes and textures perfectly. Absolutely incredible fine dining experience.

Spa is wonderful, grounds are breathtaking and are available to explore if you eat there, staff are fantastic.Wanted to love the food given all of the above, but didn’t feel like it completely hit the mark. We went for lunch. The smoked trout was the highlight, a fantastic texture and fatty flavour accented with a nice punchy beet gel. The chicken was dry: no way around it. Fish dish was less dry, but still could’ve used more sauce. Squash soup was interesting and different - but felt like it was a bit too sweet and unbalanced. The dessert with the ice cream was fantastic - balanced in flavour with nice contrasts in texture.Would return just for the ambience itself - everyone is lovely and we spent a few hours just exploring the grounds and the games rooms.

One of the best dining experiences my husband and I have had. From top to bottom we had outstanding service and the meal was delicious, complex and soul-warming. Honestly, and zero exaggeration: The white truffle risotto forever changed us as humans, unbelievably good. We are so glad we chose to celebrate our anniversary at such an incredible place. When we booked we didn’t spend significant time researching dining and it has turned out to be a highlight for us! Thank you!
