My experrience of Today Nov 8 2025 at around 6pm ET.
I’m a regular McDonald’s customer who’s spent a lot over the years. Recently, I faced an emergency — I had no money, needed to take my prescribed medication, and only asked for a courtesy cup of water. I even showed my medication. The employee refused, saying she “wasn’t allowed” and could “get in trouble.” When I asked for the manager, no one came. The worker said she needed to “keep her job to survive,” which says a lot about the lack of compassion and training here. In a moment of genuine need, McDonald’s failed completely — no empathy, no help, no leadership. A global company should never leave a loyal customer in distress for a cup of water.

If the staff is going to discuss people’s orders and call them disgusting they shouldn’t be behind the counter. Two staff members at 11:24 am need to work on their whispering.

When I noticed they weren't cooking fresh burgers I asked how long ago the burgers have been sitting in the hot box, troll at the front counter snapped at me and said they can sit in the hot box for up to an hour.

Not a good McDonald’s at all. Staff does not care! Ice barely comes out of the machine. And the eating area is full of flies. Tables were disgusting you could tell they hadn’t been wiped in a long time.

I went to the McDonald’s inside Walmart at night and didn’t have a good experience. There were two workers there. I ordered 3 iced coffees and felt the price was more than usual, so I just mentioned it to my friend and paid. One of the workers overheard me and made fun of what I said to her coworker. I felt disrespected and found that unprofessional.

Honestly one of the dirtiest mcdonald’s i have ever been to. There were fruit flies literally inside the bakery case where they keep the muffins. I even pointed it out to one of the staff, and she didn’t seem to care at all. On top of that, the drink station had fruit flies all over it, the tables were nasty and sticky, and there was no sanitizer anywhere. The whole place just felt gross and unhygienic from the moment i walked in. If this is how they are keeping the front where customers can see, i don’t even want to imagine what the back looks like. Definitely won’t be coming back, the hygiene here is honestly zero.

There is only one reason this place is good, they have a manager with the most angelic voice I've ever heard and wonderful dancing skills. Other than that, the food here is disgusting and theres more flies than humans in the vicinity.

They literally had one person at the cash register and one person doing the cooking at a busy location inside Walmart. Thus, its not surprising that my Fish-o-Filet was undercooked and the fries were also with the colour being almost white, instead of golden brown, this is the worst Mickey D's franchise in all of Cambridge.

I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at the McDonald’s located inside the Waterloo Walmart. My friends and I — who are South Asian — politely asked for a cup of ice, and the manager on duty not only refused but also treated us with clear hostility, giving us dirty looks and showing obvious disrespect.
We felt we were being discriminated against based on our race. No one should be treated differently or made to feel uncomfortable for simply existing in a space. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected, and I hope the management seriously reconsiders how they train their staff — especially when it comes to customer service and racial sensitivity.
