Really good cafe in Cambridge!! The food was good, the service was kind and fast. The space is kinda big and you can sit there for hours and don’t even notice. There is a view for the river there as well.
Is located almost inside the University Building!

Beautiful spot along the Grand River. Menu hasn't changed in years but it's not a problem because there are lots of options. Check the hours before going and parking can be tricky.

Melville Café is a hidden gem in historic Downtown Galt, located inside the University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture. It’s a wonderful place to sip a latte while overlooking the charm of downtown Galt. There’s plenty of seating, making it perfect for relaxing or spending some time working or reading. A unique bonus is the opportunity to view the impressive work of architecture students throughout the space, which adds to the creative and inspiring atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely spot right by the river in Cambridge. The space is open and spacious with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the large windows overlooking the water make it especially relaxing. Great pizza options and a comfortable place to sit and enjoy your time. It’s the kind of café you can linger in, soaking up the view and the calm vibe. Definitely worth a visit. We had a cozy vibe...watching the snow outside.

I came to Melville Cafe because of the trending downturn of service at Coffee Cultures Cafe down the street. I walk downtown almost daily and like to get something to eat. The service, menu, food and atmosphere blows Coffee Cultures Cafe away! I was very impressed. I ordered a sandwich and drink and had no problem waiting at the counter while it was made. The woman asked me to have a seat and she would delivery the food to my table. I told her I wanted to sit outside. She said, no problem at all, I'll come find you. The person who cashed me out and the woman who made my sandwich and delivered it were pleasant, friendly, polite and smiled. I know where I'll be going from now on. Thank you for the amazing service. I should have been coming here all along! Plus, they have an amazing view of the river. There is no comparison.

Great patio, great food & delicious coffee

This place is a great caffe and pizza is good too. Staff are super nice and the place gives you calm and belonging feeling. Great for students. The prices are also affordable so frankly speaking for the money you pay it exceeds expectation. It's also very clean.
