Love Menchies great time to get out with my friend and have the biggest frozen yougart we can!! We are always greeted with smiles and great personable staff. We sit there for a couple hours and have never been asked to leave even when it is busy!! Still trying to out do the highest price sold frozen yougart!! Thank you!!!

Menchie’s in Waterloo still has good frozen yogurt, but unfortunately the overall quality of the experience has gone down. I was really surprised to learn that they no longer allow customers to sample the flavours. Sampling used to be one of the best parts of Menchie’s because it let you try different options before choosing what to fill your bowl with. It made the experience fun, especially when there were new or seasonal flavours. Without that, it feels like the chain has become a bit cheap, and it definitely takes away from what made Menchie’s special in the first place. It’s disappointing to see the service decline, even though the froyo itself is still enjoyable.

Frozen yogurt located near universities. Grab a dish, add your choice of toppings, pay by the gram. Delicious!!

I didn't have a great experience for my first time visiting. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a putrid smell near the Froyo dispensers. It's smell like dirty feet. I wanted to walk out but I went with a friend who was excited to try this location. I'm not sure where the smell was coming from as there were no other customers inside.
I tried 3 different flavors of the Froyo and they all tasted exactly the the same. Like plain chocolate and vanilla. The toppings variety was good. I wanted fresh fruit but I noticed a few flies Landing on the fresh fruit toppings. So I stuck with dry toppings that had a lid on them..I didn't get much because I had lost my appetite at this point.
My friend who filled his cup about 3/4 of the way ended up paying $40 for his frozen yogurt. Which is ridiculous. I asked him if it was at least worth the price and he admitted that is wasn't great. Mine ended up tasting like regular chocolate and vanilla foryo that I could have probably got for $8 and the supermarket. However mine was about $17. It wasn't really with it. They whole experience was very off putting. Didn't seem hygienic in there
