Disappointing Experience at New York Fries

I recently visited New York Fries and, unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. While I had high expectations given their reputation, the reality was underwhelming.

First, the fries themselves were overly greasy and lacked the crispiness I was hoping for. They tasted like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. The seasoning was sparse and uneven, leaving some bites bland and others overwhelmingly salty.

The staff seemed uninterested in providing good service. I had to repeat my order multiple times, and the overall interaction felt rushed and unprofessional. On top of that, the portion size did not justify the price. It felt like I was paying a premium for something that fell short of even basic fast-food standards.

To make matters worse, the dining area was unclean, with tables and counters left sticky and trays not cleared promptly. This gave the impression of poor hygiene and management.

Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed. For a place that specializes in fries, I expected much better. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Wait time is suuuupeerr long. 10mins for a pack of fries!!
They always burn the fries at this location unless I tell them to make sure it's not burnt.

Both myself and partner got sick after eating at this location. We ordered different poutines but still both got sick. Makes you wonder about food safety at this location. This is not a regular New York Fries.

Pathetic service. Staff doesn't know how to interact with customers. No gloves while preparing food. Very careless while preparing food. Very unhygienic practices around here.@newyork fries, you guys are killing the brand with these unqualified/lazy staffs/franchise owners around you !

My food was amazing, I got a large bacon double cheese. The food was made very quickly. Although the workers did not look happy, they looked annoyed and they also talked kind of quiet.



Vegetarian options: Had fries without gravy or cheese and with just vegetables as toppings.

Overpriced and not even good

Wish I read the reviews here first.The hotdogs here are (over) cooked in the microwave… not in the hot roller as advertised.Not sure how at a FRENCH FRY place, but the fries are soggy.Order at any of the other vendors here.
