My husband and I decided last minute on our day off we would go try this place out for lunch as we have heard of it and seen it but never tried it. We are glad we gave it a try! The owner is very friendly and personable. I have never had a sub that tasted so fresh before! There was also plentiful meat which you don’t get from Subway, Mr Sub, Quiznos etc. Highly recommended. The prices are also very reasonable, we were super full after our delicious sub.

My girlfriend picked up our subs. It was my first time. The bread was incredible. The ingredients were stacked high. You could not make the sandwich at home for this price. Definitely a hidden treasure as the place should be packed out the door.

This place has absolutely killer subs, amazing portions and quality ingredients. Their homemade sub sauce is absolutely a must on any sub. The owner is very charismatic and friendly, holding conversation throughout making the sandwiches.

Best subs in town, packed with meat and toppings. Very good pricing as well - an assorted 12" came to only $10.50 after tax and the payment machine didn't even ask for a tip, which I love to see because I much prefer upfront pricing. I will be recommending this place to anyone in the area looking for a good sub and I will personally be coming back in the warmer months to try the ice cream.Parking: Customer parking at the rear of the building.

These are the best subs in the entire region! The first time I went in, I couldn't decide between two subs. However, the owner helped me out and saved the day. The sub was so delicious that I had to come back again! The owner is wonderful, friendly, and helpful, making the atmosphere great all around. The second time I visited, I told the owner to make me whatever he wanted, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! I would definitely order it again and again.Thank you Sir!!!! :)

Best subs around. For much less than Subway and other sub shops around Pappy's is hand down cheaper and better subs with a lot more meat and veggies on theirs than ANYBODY else. Never disappointed anytime I get my sub here. (favorite is the assorted).

I started going too Papou's for subs at the Hespeler location in the mid ish 90's if I remember correctly. Let me tell you you'd be hard pressed too meet a nicer guy, who also makes a very generous and delicious sub! I hadn't walked thru the doors of this sub shop which is now in Galt for probly a decade since moving from town and when I did it was just like I remember. I didn't make it 2 steps in the door and I get a "OH! Look at this guy! Where ya been?" I was shocked that I was remembered lol . I had my 12 yr old daughter with me and she got too hear all the stories about me as a young teenager running around Hespeler being a hooligan as she was passed a free ice cream cone while she listened attentively too the stories. She got too meet a great guy and was introduced too a great small business in the community. As we chatted I also told stories too my daughter about how "when I was a kid" I'd go too the sub shop for a super assorted and a chocolate milk and sometimes I didn't have near enough money too cover it but I always left with a sub and a chocolate milk! That's the kind of man that runs this business. So if your looking for a great sub and too support a great guy make sure too stop at Papou's Place.
