Ordered the daily special, Schwarma on a wed., everything was fresh and made with quality ingredients, staff was friendly and service was fast and affordable, I recommend this place if you have a craving for a great pita.
This used to be a chain called pita pit but the owner bought the store out, it pays to support local business owners because they truly care about providing good service.

I've been going to this spot for years. They changed the name (formerly Pita Pit), but my husband and I agree we like the new changes better. Same people running it, who are always friendly and we're happy they're still there. Pitas are awesome and fresh. I like the chicken shawarma and hubby likes to the Southwest.

We went this evening on the way up to the cottage and it was the first time I noticed it switched from Pita Pit. A quick google search and I saw it was the same owner that had the Pita Pit franchise. The pita's taste better now. The chicken tastes like real chicken vs the artifiical/rubber-like chicken that you get from Pita Pit.

That was the best chicken Cesar pita I have had in a long time. No bogarting toppings loaded to the gills asked for me cheese got more, pickels on the side no problem. Lady behind the counter super friendly 10/10 will go again.

My family and I have been going to Sunny’s for decades at 534 Hespeler Road Cambridge (formerly a Pita Pit franchise).The food is made to order, always fresh, tasty and healthy. It is our family’s favourite spot in Cambridge for lunch. Friendly atmosphere and clean. Sunny now is an independent operator. Store is now called Pita Guy, support local. Thank you Sunny for decades of good food.
