Good coffee and pastries;
Chocolate Eclair has lots of yummy whipped cream;
Meat Pies are delicious;
Love their Black Pudding/Blood Sausage on a fresh roll with butter!

I visited Rising Dough Bakery This past Friday at about 1100 am... it was busy... A customer came in.. A larger gentleman who looked slightly unkept and had a strong odor of urine... he ordered probably his food for the week including sausage rolls and meat pies.. A significant order... the young female cashier couldn't keep from laughing at him.. she actually left the cash counter and went into the kitchen to laugh and share his presence with others... So very rude... wow... so judgemental.. I left very angry at the situation but bit my tongue... That young girl needs a lesson in kindness to paying customers... I won't recommend going there due to staff rudeness..

Great selection of baked goods, lots of imported products and super friendly staff. I always go in for one specific item and leave with a bunch of different goodies.

Unexpecred find and glad we came across this, great traditional english/ scotish bakery in a most unlikely location. Worth stopping by

I love going in here for a coffee and a treat. Fresh bread. Fresh deserts. Service is really good. Friendly staff. Always a nice china mug for coffee.

Excellent Scottish bakery. We’ve tried quite a few of the breads, pastries and pies and haven’t been disappointed yet. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Would recommend the Scotch Egg and the basic Scottish loaf.
