Sam's Grill Cambridge

I was told Sam's has authentic East Coast donairs so , being Maritimers who had yet to find a really good donair , we had to check it out. OMG..so good. We also had poutine which was also fabulous. Service was so friendly too. She told us that everything there is fresh, never frozen and that next time we should try their homemade burgers which are 2 3oz patties. The whole menu sounds great, 10 kinds of poutine. We'll be back for sure. If you're missing down east donairs, you gotta try Sam's!!

Forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to eat..honestly, I've been coming here for awhile, and it's consistent everytime for me, despite some of the negative reviews. The burgers are probably one of the most underrated burgers amongst all the chains; comparable to In-N-Out (better, in my opinion), Shake Shack, classic McDonald's. Get the regular burger (comes with 2 patties)- I add cheese, ketchup, mustard, onions and pickles to mine. Perfect bite. Trust me. The fries are freshly cut, although probably better to eat right away rather than take out as can get soggy. Poutine is also bomb, better than most poutineries in my opinion! Staff have also been nice and efficient! At least give it a try!

I really liked the atmosphere, at first walking up it looked as though there's no seating till we walked inside. The service was fantastic . The food amazing unfortunately there aren't any pics available.....lol . We devoured it before I realized we didn't take a pic.....hopefully next time

Their donair is a trip back to the east coast and their fries take me back to being at a skate rink or poutine shop.

My first visit to this store & a disgusting one I must say. My observations:
3 workers in the store.
No other customer except me at the time.
My packing order took 12-15 min to prepare.
No salt added to the French fries & most of them were not even crisp.
Very chewy & dry chicken patty with no flavour at all.
Potato bags stacked just beside the entrance.

This experience was saddening for a reputable brand like yours. I expect better quality control and attention to customer satisfaction…Thanks !!

My family and I visited Sam’s Grill for lunch today for the first time, and I have to say, we were blown away! From the start, the person taking our order was friendly and polite, setting a great tone for our experience. The food was incredible, exceeding all our expectations. A very kind gentleman checked in with us to ensure everything was perfect and even gave a little treat to my three daughters, which was such a thoughtful touch. We truly appreciated it. Words can’t fully capture how much we enjoyed our time here.

Tried the Nashville Chicken sandwich. Was not even remotely close to be called this. The chicken was processed, it wasn't brined and it had an ever so slightly spicy BBQ sauce. Nashville Chicken is dipped in spicy cayenne pepper oil with brown sugar and other spices, there is no sauce. Also the combo is absurdly overpriced for what you get. Will not return .
