🌸 Ordered here for the first time and tried their Jerk Chicken and Jerk Pork. The marinate is good and it tastes good. The jerk pork is a little but spicy. The Jerk Chicken however is way too spicy! Like your eyes will tear up if from the spicyness.

Even my brother who loves spicy dish said that it was way too much spice they put in there. I wish they could’ve asked the level of spicyness we want.

Omg! The jerk pork was PHENOMENAL. Kinda of sad I live over an hour way now? Been a week and Im still craving it!

Unfortunately they forgot to add my Beef Patty. Which when you’re bagging food you should check the list to make sure all of that customers item is there! Ugh annoying!

Got their oxtail large, I’m confused why it’s 3$ extra on top of the 16$. Way too expensive! I’ll say the oxtail was tender. The pieces are small and more bones than beef. Their coleslaw is trash! Their chicken curry has to many small bone pieces, watch out. And really spicy. Their plantains are a very very small portion. Also warning when u order a festival or dumpling, it’s only 1 piece that they give you, which is ridiculous.

We were looking for catered island food for a friends night in. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The food was hot and ready and plentiful for 10 adults. We had Jerk Chicken, Goat Curry, Fried Chicken, rice and beans, beef patties. Everyone loved it! Super tasty- well done Soul Island Kitchen ✅

Usually always come here, and never had issues. Always delicious soups served. However when I came yesterday for cow foot soup, I was HIGHLY disappointed and disgusted by the meat that was served to me‼️‼️
I’m happy I caught it prior to eating it, but almost literally cried because having hair on the meat still is beyond borderline unacceptable..
Prickly, dark hair on my piece of meat.
This should not happen. This is a potential food safety hazard.
I will not be returning due to this. Sucks because this place is one of few local Jamaican spots.
