Food is great. Service is a bit slow...and they seem short-staffed during dinner time. Atmosphere is a calm quiet bar...nothing like the ones in the GTA...great for that specific crowd type if this is more of your style/feel.

They make uber driver wait too much. When I arrived the waitress said just one minute but i have waited more than 15-20 minutes. It’s not professional behaviour to waste uber drivers time. And this is not first time they do this I usually pick order and they make me wait each and everytime. This is the last time I am coming to pick order from your restaurant. The bar is not even busy if it was busy I could have understood.

Ordered takeout:

1. They forgot to give us a wing poutine we ordered. I returned to the store and they gave it to us. However the chicken was cold. Like colder than room temp.

2. We added dill crispers to a wing order but received fries. When we returned to correct issue 1, we mentioned it. They informed us that the didn't have dill crispers anymore. Why did they not call to ask if we wanted to substitute? Why were we still billed for the addition? Why were we not informed of the substitution for fries on pickup?

3. When correcting #2, the staff seemed both surprised and disinterested when I asked for a refund for the $1.99 refunded. We spoke to a female server, who directed us to a male, who directed us back to the female, who finally gave us a toonie out of the cash register.

4. As mentioned in 1. Some food was cold. Most was ~room temperature. The cheese curds on my side poutine weren't even melted, indicating it was never properly warmed to begin with and it wasn't just the 5 minute drive home that allowed the food to cool. Are y'all just tossing food from the fridge to the microwave? We aren't expecting a gourmet meal but at least hit us with the bare minimum.

2 stars because the staff at least make a half-baked effort to correct the issues. Probably won't be touching a St. Louis ever again though.

I am parent that was spectating my son's U12 A Early Bird Hockey Tournament in Cambridge. There was about 3 hours between our last two games on the Saturday afternoon/evening. We called over to a nearby restaurant and asked if they could accommodate our group. We walked over to G.T. and found out that due to the size of our group (about 12 adults, 14 kids) that they did not have staffing to provide for us.

We called to the next closest place. The host said they were almost empty and could probably handle the influx. We walked over to St. Louis Bar & Grill. The host, Erica, was a little shocked to witness the actual size of our group as, virtually, a walk-in. We were promptly seated and began trying to coral a bunch of excited boys to figure out what to order. Erica requested we come up one at a time to place our order with her at the machine. This worked wonderfully.

Then she went to work...

We began receiving as many of the items as humanly possible. A big tray of soft drinks, a bunch of pitchers of water, some of the bar drinks...all steadily rolling out of the kitchen and bar. Erica continued to serve everything as it became available. Eventually, everyone had everything they ordered. I had the chicken and waffles with sweet potatoe fries. Fries were nothing special, the sauce with them tasted good. The sandwich was killer. Kudos to the chef, it was really enjoyable. I managed to ply away Erica's time just enough to get a refill of my soda.

We then proceeded, one by one, back to the machine to pay our tabs. Easy process. On my way out, I made sure to ask for some way to leave a review. The fact that the restaurant was able to accommodate our group, with no notice, was already spectacular enough. Add on the service we received...stellar!

Not writing this review to tarnish the reputation of this place, but rather in hopes the owner takes note of its shortcomings and helps it reach its potential.

Context: I live very close by, and this place could have been my go-to spot for winding down in the evenings, but unfortunately, it falls short.

1. Quality of chicken: I’ve tried the wings and other chicken items several times, and each time, the quality has been disappointing. The chicken doesn’t taste fresh and often smells like it has been sitting in the fridge or freezer too long. I really wish the wings tasted better.
2. Service: The service is inconsistent. On multiple occasions, I’ve had extra drinks mistakenly added to my bill, which creates an unnecessary hassle.
3. Atmosphere: This is the most troubling issue. The patio often feels overrun by people who don’t respect others’ privacy. On one occasion, a dog, seemingly known to the staff, kept approaching our table while we ate. The waitress seemed unconcerned. Another time, a group of patrons made vulgar comments toward a couple, making the environment feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

On weekends, the place feels deserted, while Gator’s Tail attracts a much better crowd.

I’m more than willing to update my review if improvements are made.

They just ignore delivery drivers like garbage.

A good business always let the delivery driver know the approx waiting time for the order.
This one does not value time of their delivery partners.
