Reserving through Opentable was smooth and the restaurant did a great job preparing the table to our specifications. Really enjoyed the Steak + Bangbang shrimp combination.

One reason for choosing this restaurant was for their enchiladas which when we got there they don't have them any more so my children were disappointed. They also put us in a corner that was a little dark. Overall our server Parker made the night worth it all!!! They do have a new Ramen now my girls loved.

I've been to this location a couple of times and have enjoyed it very much. The staff is friendly. The establishment is very clean. The food is tasty and presented so nicely. There are screens if wanted but quiet corners too. A little something for everyone.

First off, I'd like to start with this...When greeted, seated, connection with the staff, food, and our overall time at the restaurant, not bad at all...quite enjoyed our meal and evening....BUT about 2 hours after eating, things took a turn for the worst. Stomach cramps, overall body ache and the back end...well I'll save you the details there. I was in terrible shape for the evening and rest of the weekend, as my dinner decided to turn against me....food poisoning. I called the restaurant on Monday and spoke with an assistant manager as the manager wasn't available. I told him my story, not looking for anything other than to update them about my experience and that perhaps they might want to check the ingredients of the meal I had. I assume that others may have ordered the same meal as I, but wasn't sure. The 2 people I spoke with were very polite and concerned about me after my ordeal... The assistant manager told me he'd advise the restaurant manager and that they'd call me to get details and just to hear me out. I said that I didn't want anything but to talk to someone in charge...that was it. My night out for dinner was August 23rd...and to this day December 2nd, I've heard from no one... I will NOT be back to State & Main, nor will I recommend this establishment to any family or friends. I'm disappointed that the person in charge, didn't bother to call me back.

I’ve always been loyal to the Waterloo location, but after one unforgettable evening at the Cambridge State & Main, I’ve officially found my new favourite spot—and it’s all thanks to Becky, the incredible general manager.
From the moment she took our reservation over the phone, Becky made us feel like VIPs. She asked if we were celebrating anything special, and we casually mentioned it was just a date night. What she did next blew us away: she reserved a beautifully intimate corner table, quiet and cozy—perfect for the kind of night we were hoping for.
The service was flawless, and the food? Next level. We started with the bang bang shrimp and the brussels sprouts—both absolutely delicious. Paired with a stunning bottle of wine, it was the kind of meal you remember. It was the perfect way to cap off an already exciting day celebrating the grand opening of Harley-Davidson at Apex.
Becky didn’t just meet expectations—she elevated the entire experience. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality turned a great restaurant into an exceptional one. Cambridge, you’ve got a gem here.

Great service! Taylor our server was very nice. The food was great. Just a little chaotic, but I believe that was due to the time we were there.
Was there this week. My friend had brussels sprouts as a start and chicken as her main. She has a serious feed allergy and the server was most helpful in making suggestions. I had an excellent salad. We were there on. Monday night so other nights it may be noisy, I don't know. I do know the food and especially our sever were excellent.

My family and I have been to this establishment twice now, once for Father’s Day and the other time just for the heck of it. I honestly am blown away by how good it is. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic. Both times were great. Keep up the great work.
