THE VEGGIES WERE FRESH BUT THE AMOUNT OF MEAT FOR THE CHICKEN SOUVFLAKI PITA WAS SMALL. THE STAFF WAS POLITE BUT IT TOOK THE SERVERS A WHILE TO PREPARE THE ORDER. IT COULD BE THAT THEY WERE NEW AND A LITTLE NERVOUS. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN LINE. I WILL TRY AGAIN JUST TO BE FAIR.
My wife's Chicken Souvlaki was good and the reason for the 3 stars.The attempt at a Halifax Style Donair is an utter disappointment. They only heated up the pre-made meat strips in the back, presumably in a microwave, making it just soggy. It should be fried so that the edges are almost crispy. The suace is very runny and has almost no flavor. It could just be the wetness of the meat, but unappealing either way.
A head office person showed up during my order being prepared. He walked right around me and stopped the employees from finishing my meal. He started talking to them like I wasn't there, I had to ask the employee to move so the other worker could attempt to finish my order. If this is how disrespectful head office is to their customers, I will no longer be one. I hope you treat your employees better then that.
