Sooo I will start by saying I started coming to the Bruce last year, spring of 2023. Up until literally a couple of months ago- the food was absolutely outstanding!!! They used to have a really amazing beef short rib I had around Christmas, blow your MIND good.RECENTLY however, I believe there are new owners and management because everything is changed? The actual waiters that take your order are great as always, but there is an east Indian manager now that sometimes will take your order- tonight he just brought me a water and didn’t even ask if I wanted anything else to drink lol, additionally I ordered a $35 flank steak with truffle fries and it was supposed to come with a garden salad- I asked to substitute for a ceaser even for a charge, he said it wasn’t possible to do this and I needed to be charged for an entire side ceaser salad even tho the dinner came w a salad lol, I was open to paying extra but like- not being charged for an entire additional salad. He also said it wasn’t possible to do the steak medium rare said he could do it medium, it came out medium rare thankfully lol.Additionally there is a chocolate de creme dessert that is supposed to come with berries, it didn’t, nor did it say it was dark chocolate on the menu. Didn’t even enjoy it. The ceasar salad I paid extra for; browned lettuce throughout, the croutons were so stale they were hard as a brick (I’ve had this salad probably 5 times now since they put it on the menu) I was told it was a new crouton like I’d never had the salad before, kitchen said the croutons weren’t stale LOL.I am reluctant to say the service and food quality has SERIOUSLY fallen over the past couple months. I won’t be coming back which sucks because I was a solid customer here and loved coming here. The food is unfortunately not it anymore and not worth the price. Very sad.

Whenever we go here the food is always good, Usually a quieter place to eat. Our last visit while the food was still good, just a couple of things bugged me when we got the bill.. I had asked if they could substitute the sauce on my sandwich as i didn't like the one it came with. They brought out a whole side of the dressing and then charged me for it. Also when it came to the ice cream for dessert it has prices for 1 scoop 2 scoops etc but didn't specify that you couldn't mix the flavours, so if you have two flavours you get charged for two single scoops. Just a little FYI that they should maybe let guests know that at the time of ordering.

Loved the pizzas, they had gluten free crust if needed. Courtney was a great server, very comfortable chairs. Only drawback, some of the menu prices were steep. Would go back for the pizza.

This breakfast is exactly the same breakfast you get at any budget hotel as a complimentary breakfast. They charge $12 if you pay in check in and $15 if you walk in. Dry eggs, white toast and bagels, as a complimentary hotel breakfast in the lobby it is market value, as a restaurant breakfast it falls far short. I feel this is false advertising as I understood I was coming to the Bruce for a good breakfast. Staff were great and the restaurant looks like a great place. Just asking you advertise it more realistically.
I always forget about this place .. but never have anything bad to say about. Drinks flow and food is good. Close to high way . So great to meet up with friends who are out of town.

The food was amazing! The service wasn't the best. Our server ignored us a lot. We tried to flag her down a few times and she was just standing at the server station chatting with another server. But the food was so good! Hopefully it was just an off day for service. I will happily try them again because the food was delicious.

This place was a very wonderful surprise. I was seated immediately upon arrival, and my server was extremely nice and helpful. I ordered their linguine and what came out was something I wasn’t expecting at all, but in a good way!It was so unique and different from anything I’ve ever had before. The pasta was cooked with squid ink, which dyes it black, and it looked extremely cool! To my surprise, there were little squids in my dish too! It was surprise after surprise and it was such a great experience. The pasta was a tad plain, but there was plenty of seafood in my dish to make up for it.Overall, I would come here again just to see what comes out to my table based off this experience. Loved it!
