I tell people I don't like Mexican food. What I learned after visiting the Mule the first time a few years ago is that I don't like American-ized Mexican food. The Mule serves creative, flavourful, sweet/spicy/savory/smoky/sour perfect bites. The presentation is spot on and I love the variety. I wish they served the Mexican sweet potato brunch dish all the time because it's THE BEST. Please always keep the Coolada on the drink menu, too!
We waited over 1.5 hours for our food. This wouldn't have been a huge issue if we did not have 2 small children with us. The staff was not very forthright with why our food was taking so long and we had to ask what the hold up was.
This was our first experience here, and let me start off by saying the food was fantastic! Everything we had was delicious, so we will definitely be back! Our service was a little slow, we had to ask for cutlery a few minutes after our food arrived, and also waited a while for our bill. We came for mothers day, and while we had the special mothers day menu (which we ordered from), we did not receive the regular brunch menu which I saw other tables receiving after we had already ordered. With that said, this is a great spot and we look forward to returning for dinner in the near future!

While I could rave about the Mules food (and will), the staff is absolutely incredible! We had people who had visited before and they recognized us, were super helpful, answered all our questions, and more. We had a number of different plates, including the queso, mac and cheese, potato dish, and tacos - our favourites were shrimp and chicken. This hidden spot downtown has parking just down the street (at Monogram coffe roasters) - and has a good atmosphere. I would recommend ?

As a latina...you NEED to try this place! The Birria tacos, the shrimp, chicken, pork belly tacos etc, they are all so succulent and well made. I've been here 4x so far and it's consistency with the quality and service keeps me coming back. They even had karaoke one night and a Simpson's Trivia night (I didn't win) but it was so fun seeing their theme nights. Try this place and the cheesecake dessert, you will love it, from the food to the people. 11/10 recommend

The place feels like it should get a higher rating but while the concept is a great one, the execution is a bit lacking. Service is great. The birria foldies are great. Some of the mixed drinks are pretty unique which is a plus, but others try to do too much and end up falling a bit flat. Considering this is supposed to be a taco place, we found the fried chicken and achiote chicken tacos unexpectedly very dry. The habanero beef taco was delicious though.Overall, the place feels like it’s designed for a group of 18-20 year olds but with a surprisingly good assortment of quality alcohols available.It’s rough around the edges with great potential. Feels like it’s trying to find its identity. If some food quality improvements and menu tweaks happen, we’d be back to give this place another shot, otherwise there are at least two significantly better taco options in the vicinity.

Cool restaurant, cool environment. The menu is entirely gluten free. Everything I've tried was tasty. I especially enjoy the calamari.Our waitress was friendly and helpful with suggestions and answering questions. Food came out quickly. And when one person decided to get additional tacos after the initial order, that was handled quickly as well.There's on street parking, and a few municipal free lots within a block.I've been here twice and will definitely be back.

I've been to The Mule in Hamilton, and the location in Cambridge did not disappoint either! Great quality food, everything was delicious! We basically tried one of each taco and the brisket was my favourite. We even just so happened to be there for Karaoke night on Tuesday which made it even more fun! Staff was amazing. Thanks for another great experience.
