The Nook Reviews
I had a baby shower tonight and I was so taken care of that I felt the first thing to do was write this review. The management took such good care of me and was a huge part of my showers success! I am so beyond thrilled with the service and the food was amazing! I HIGHLY recommend choosing The Nook Cook House for your catering needs! You will not be disappointed - I promise!!
Always awesome and fresh ingredients. And the people running the place are always wonderful and sweet! Thanks Connor and fam for the delicious lunches and different options!
The crab boil was amazing! It was so much fun too. My son plastic wrapped our whole kitchen table and we dumped the boil directly on the table. We ate with our hands and it was suck a great treat! So good! Lots of delicious butter too! 🤤

The Nook is a cozy spot for breakfast or lunch, known for its great food and friendly service. Guests enjoy coffee every morning and appreciate the homemade Roasted Red Pepper soup, which is fresh and flavorful. Wraps are also popular, praised for their freshness and deliciousness. The restaurant offers generous portions at reasonable prices, making it a pleasant stop for anyone passing through the area. Visitors often recommend stopping in while walking down King Street to explore the menu of homemade food. Recently, customers have highlighted the use of always fresh ingredients and the wonderful, sweet staff who run the place. The crab boil is a standout, described as amazing and a fun experience, with plenty of delicious butter and a hands-on way to eat it. One visitor tried the Philly steak Sandwich, which was delicious and surprisingly filling, and enjoyed chatting with Connor, the man at the grill. The owner and his mom are both very kind, making guests feel welcome and comfortable. The food is highly praised, with special mentions of the José Mac and Cheese, which some say is the best they’ve ever had. The Buffalo Wrap & Deluxe Dawg are also favorites, enjoyed by many. The pulled pork mac & cheese and grilled cheese are described as very good, with quick service and big portions. Although it feels more like a takeout place with only two small tables, the care taken in packaging and providing cutlery makes it a great choice. Overall, The Nook remains a welcoming spot with great people and tasty homemade food.
