I moved here from toronto and sadly the sushi situation here was crud until I found this spot. Takeout only but taste is ultra - loving the vibe in there - authentic. Bubble tea tastes like they make fresh tapioca balls, sushi is very fresh & yum, udon was tasty, dumpling were a bit over cooked but fine fine - I have had better but my 6 year old scarfed them down so won there. I wish they had pork … they have pork wonton but maybe I’ll try next time. The only thing was the spring rolls which were free tasted a bit off… maybe oil needed a change or who knows … free is free…
I free so happy I finally found a good sushi place. I wish the eel sushi had crunchy bits like my old fav place.

The amount of sushi you can get for $20 is amazing. I got free pops and a miso soup with the order being over a certain amount.
The outside and inside is very outdated and in a poor state.
The food quality isn't reflected on by the environment.
This is solely a take out restaurant.

Best sushi and handrolls in town! I moved to Cambridge from Kitchener and my husband found this gem! Our go-to are: Spicy salmon handrolls, mango handrolls, Happy Hour roll (even Fantastic roll was 10/10) and chicken/shrimp fried udon noodles. I prefer shrimp Udon but even chicken one is really good. Flavorful, authentic taste, handrolls are VERY FRESH. The miso soup is 10/10. They use kelp instead of seaweed which says a lot about great quality soup! And fresh tasty springrolls! We order every week from here because of the price and quality of the food.

I had salmon lover and tomita sushi last week and it was awesome. So I visited again for salmom roll, alaska roll and spicy salmon roll. Dam these are soooo goodd. This place is my go to sushi restaurant now.
20241220 Ordered roll sashimi tray and was soo good as usual. Tomita is my go to restaurant. Sashimi is not dry (white fish sashimi is usually dry like tai).
20241231 Ordered sushi sashimi tray. It is not bad but hmm...I think I would rather to order roll sashimi tray other tray. This is kinda not worth. Too many imitation crabs.

We ordered for the first time last night and I must say it was fantastic!!! Ordered the roll party platers, it was delicious! Took my friend there for lunch today and had the chicken teriyaki bento box. Fabulous! Great portions for a great price. This is now our go to sushi place :)
