We went to D’s for an early dinner and it was fantastic across the board. I was a bit skeptical at first but the food, service and atmosphere is top notch fine dining. D, Owen, and Alyssa were so friendly and warm. Glad to see such variety and a thoughtful fine establishment in Campbellford. Would definitely recommend. Also try their hot sauce if you like spice, you’ll feel it.
Great atmosphere and service. The doubles are amazing. The pepper shrimp and ox tail stew were great dishes for our first visit. Looking forward to going back.

Food was good and fresh .. but the portions are smaller than I personally like (compared to similar Caribbean restaurants I have been to) .. that said its nice to have variety in Campbellford.. rather than the usual fare ...the Server was attentive and fast ..all good.

First time in and what a treat. We were greeted by Dee the owner upon arrival with a warm hello and a hearty smile. Our table was reserved and our server explained all our meal options (being Caribbean rookies) and took our drink order. My wife and I split the roti chicken & goat meals. Dessert to polish off the palette was Dee's made from scratch chocolate cake and like her personality....simply phenomenal! If you want to get away from the ordinary and try out some incredible Carribean dishes along with a selection of fine Carribean beer or spirits...well worth your drive to Campbellford. Looking forward to our first sitting at the February 14th Valentine's Day dinner!Kid-friendliness: Crepes available as witnessed as Dee had a regular father & young son come in for their weekly fill.

When I told my mom there is a place to get doubles locally she lost it!! Every bite was phenomenal!! My Gramms, Mom and I all very much enjoyed everything. We tried their plantain cups with beans/(or beef), we of course had their infamous doubles, which were VeRY well made, and we also had their smoothies; they were beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere is very cute, unlike any other Caribbean spot around; it’s cozy and boutiquey for a date night and alive enough for brunch too! They are doing a fabulous job with this unique spot in Campbellford Vegetarian options: There’s a few excellent options on this menu for vegans/vegetarians; definitely try the doubles!

The presentation of the food and the ambience of the restaurant make this hidden gem a place we will be coming back to and bringing our friends. We had lunch at D’s and were fortunate to chat with the owner. Delicious authentic Trinidadian food, we had the Dhal & Rice and Curry Goat and the Stewed Pork and Macaroni Pie. All excellent and so well presented (not your average Caribbean restaurant). D and her staff are friendly and obviously care about the food they are serving, as they source authentic Caribbean ingredients. What a treat to sit and have lunch in this well decorated restaurant. We can’t wait to bring our friends here for more Trini food. We will be back as soon as we can.

One of the best, if not THE best, Caribbean roti I've ever had. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Staff are great: professional and friendly. Décor and atmosphere are beautiful.Vegetarian options: A few good veggie options in entrees and appetizers.Parking: Free street parking right out front and all along the street on both sides. Don't usually have any trouble finding a nearby spot.
Always enjoy dining at D’s! Fantastic take out for our staff parties as well. When our adult kids come home they always want to go to D’s. Highly recommend D’s Modern Carribean Cuisine.
